The Dodgers have been swept in the NLCS
by the little Milwaukee Brewers, the little
team that was actually, by the way, guys,
the best team in baseball in the regular season.
Yeah.
So I don't know why people are saying, well,
I do know why people say, we'll get to that
as this block goes on.
But Milwaukee sweeps the Dodgers.
They win six to four.
They were down four to nothing in game four at Dodger Stadium,
and they score six unanswered
runs and beat this dodgers team that was stacked stacked uh
in their lineup one through six don't
air quotes those stacked it was stacked it
was stacked all right i will reserve it doesn't the
dodgers roster is stacked like a bbl buddy cut it out it
was and so this is how the series went
dodgers lose two to one barely in milwaukee they lose seven
to four in milwaukee they get crushed
six to two in game three
and then game four was just stupid i mean they they were up four to
nothing and they blew it um the milwaukee brewers
scored 21 runs dodgers only scored 11 the milwaukee
brewers out homered the dodgers seven to one
that one home run was shohei ohtani's home run in game
four he hit a three run shot big home run
at the time yeah it was a big home run to make it four
to nothing and that was his first home run since
the middle of august that's how good shohei ohtani
has been since August um in any case
so the Dodgers three-peat um it would have been the
first since the '98 to 2000 Yankees
but as Kanye said I guess we'll never know um so John your
thoughts the Dodgers are are done I don't have
to subject myself to this trash offense that the
Dodgers had anymore what are your thoughts I think it's very hard
to three-peat that's why it's only
been done one time in baseball the length
of the season lends itself to the winning team like in
any other championship sport you play more games than everybody else
in the sport that's why it is
vital that you sweep quick
or you give up a game maybe two at most what happened to them last year
to win the World Series going seven games
that the the the weight of that into the next season
and I thought Dave Roberts did a very good job getting them
to this point but they looked tired
they looked like a team that had been playing deep
into the playoffs for three straight years
they look like a team that's been to the playoffs
this could this this group together
five six years straight
then they ran out of gas it it just happened the Brewers got to their
pitching the Brewers played better first
and foremost let's just say that let's give the
credit to the team that actually won
the series they played better baseball they're playing at a
higher level right now than the than the Dodgers
were who people thought were better and the
Padres were who they thought everybody thought they
were even specifically me yeah they played
better than both those teams higher payrolls
and quote-unquote more household names and they
outplayed both of those teams
so you got to give credit to the Milwaukee Brewers for playing better
baseball they're playing on an elevated level
at right now that they do one thing better if you
score four they score five if you score two they
they score three they're just they're finding ways
to win and tonight was another example
of them finding a way to win that game
Thank
you.
