Make Casteliacones from Pokemon Without a Machine!
Famous big city ice cream—no machine needed! Castelia Cones, Vanilite and other elements property of Pokemon and Nintendo. What does it taste like? A scoop-able version of those cartoon popsicles you can only get from the ice cream man. Here's how you make it!
What You Need:
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 packet blue drink mix (I use raspberry lemonade)
1 TBL vodka (optional)
Blue gel food color, a few drops (optional)
2 cups heavy cream
Sugar cones, to serve
In a small bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and blue drink mix and vodka. You can leave the vodka out, but your ice cream won’t be as smooth.
Whip cream in a large bowl to stiff peaks. Fold in a little of the cream into your milk mixture. Add a little more blue color if you wish, it will give the ice cream a Vanilluxe blue twinge. Fold in the rest of the milk mixture into your cream. You can leave a few white streaks.
Pour your mixture into a loaf pan and cover in plastic. Freeze for 4-8 hours or until stiff. Scoop into desired servings and serve inside your favorite sugar cone.
