How to Make an Undertale Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie

What You Need:

1/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup sugar
2 TBL water
2 TBL butter
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 cup heavy cream
Pinch of salt
2 tsp cinnamon

1 1/2 tsp gelatine
1 TBL water
1 block cream cheese, softened
1 cup heavy cream

Store-bought pie dough
Ground cinnamon, to garnish

Drape a store-bought pie dough over a small tart pan. Make sure the edges are a little thick. Poke holes in the bottom with a fork. Bake in a 450 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.

Whip 1 cup cream to stiff peaks. Set aside. Sprinkle gelatin over 1 TBL of water and allow to soak for five minutes.

For Cinnamon butterscotch filling: In a medium heavy pot, place brown sugar, white sugar, water, butter, and lemon juice along with a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Then, cook on medium heat for about 8-12 minutes or until it darkens in color. Consult the video for what it should look like. Then, turn off the heat and add 1/4 cup of heavy cream.

Once cream is incorporated, add cinnamon. Cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until it tightens up. Turn off the heat. While it’s still warm, add the block of cream cheese and reserved gelatin. Whisk until smooth.

Carefully fold in 1/3 of your whipped cream into your butterscotch mixture. Once that mixture lightens up, add it all at once to your whipped cream and fold it in carefully with a whisk. Pour mixture into reserved pie shell and smooth out the top. Place in the fridge for 2-4 hours or until set.

Garnish with more ground cinnamon on top. Slice, and serve. Keep leftovers refrigerated.
