1 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt

Wet stuff:
1/3 cup butter flavored shortening
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1/3 cup molasses
1 TBL milk

Melted chocolate, for decorating

In a large bowl, combine dry stuff. Whisk till combined.

In a stand mixer, whip butter flavored shortening and brown sugar until creamy. Add egg and molasses. Whip until fluffy.

Add flour in two installments, on slow. Add milk just until a dough forms. Wrap dough in plastic and refrigerate for at least an hour.

Roll dough out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out into 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch squares. Carefully slice brick imprints into the squares and place on parchment lined sheet.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 mins until the edge of the cookies are golden brown. Allow to cool on sheet for 3 minutes then move to a cooling rack. Once cool, fill the crevices with melted chocolate. Allow to set. Serve with Moo Moo Milk or coffee.

2 TBL black tea, your favorite
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp corn starch
1/3 cup water
1 1/3 cups milk

In a French press, make double brewed tea in 1/3 cup water. Strain out tea leaves.

Pour into a large saucepan. Whisk in cornstarch and optional sugar.

Add milk. Bring to a boil, stirring all the while. Allow to cool slightly. Pour tea into a small sealable drink container.
Place in the fridge for at least two hour to cool. Serve cold or hot
