Ride along on new Tormenta: Rampaging Run roller coaster at Six Flags Over Texas

There it is. Six Flags of Texas. And I believe on the right hand side of your screen there, that is it. The new the new roller coaster. Daredevils speed seekers buckle in. The new coaster at Six Flag is finally ready for riders after months of previews and a few delays. Tormenta Rampaging Run opens tomorrow, but we have an early spot in line with our own Paige Ellenberger. She is ready to take on the ride live here on Good day. Let's go, Paige. Hey, guys. Yeah, I am locked into this. You mentioned early off the top. Hey, we're looking at a tower cam. I think that's the rampaging run in the shop there. If you notice it, then it probably is. We're talking about a coaster that is giga dive 309 ft in the air. Tony with with the park here, this thing breaks multiple world records. You've ridden it before. What can we expect as we get ready to leave the station? So this is a giga dive coaster, and I know it's we use nerdy coaster terminology. But what that is is a giga coaster is any coaster between 300 and 399 ft tall. So it sometimes isn't a dive coaster. Sometimes it's just a coaster that doesn't go upside down or anything. So the giga is that part. But then we have the dive part, and the dive coaster is interesting because when we get to the top, we're gonna hold you over the edge for about three seconds. Let you stare down at life's choices, and then you get to enjoy the rest of the ride. Let me know where I could end up at the would you like to try it? I'm ready to try it. We're literally we're gonna hold over the edge. You're staring down a 285 95 degree beyond vertical. Here we go. Okay, that's pretty much it. I'm shaking. So I hope you enjoyed the ride. That's awesome. And so long. Listen, I think when people hear of this coaster, you didn't make it appealing. All right. The torment of rampaging run. Yes. Like you want people thinking twice before they get on this type of point. You look at it. It's the tallest, pretty much the tallest coaster we have. It's a giant structure. You can see from all over from miles and miles away. But you know what? It's smooth. It's fun. You had fun, right? Hope you had fun. So smooth. I love a coaster. I've been on a few coasters. It's a little bumpy. Even when they go up the hill, it can be bumpy. This is nothing but and you feel secure. You feel super. How many people can ride on this at the same time? So each one of these rows is eight people. There's three rows of eight. We have three trains. So honestly, this is gonna be a good ride to ride because the lines gonna continuously move. Um, they do a good job of that. The crew's amazing. Uh, it's it's a It's an awesome new coaster to check out this year. You're gonna want to ride it again. I'm sure before I leave, I know we don't have another live hit on the coaster. You can write it back in this line. This is where it's at the torment of rampaging run. It opens tomorrow. I'm still shaking. I mean, 90 nearly 90 miles an hour. 300 ft in the air. They dangle you over. Like, listen, if you don't like splatting it, this might not be the coaster for you. It is unbelievable. This is for thrill seekers and consider me shook. Oh my gosh, you are a thrill seeker paid. I love how you said and you feel secure while riding it, which I do think is key on any roller coaster. Make sure you are locked in tight. Yeah, aside from the fact that it forced tears from your eyes. Other than that, I probably that wasn't my brightest moment. You know, that wasn't. I didn't look too good.
