THE SNUGGLE IS REAL | Painting on Valentines Day

How come, when you was being cute, I turned the camera on? You're like, oh camera? I'm too much of a diva for that. Memphis, be cute! ♪ Thanks for liking and subscribing, Snow Dogs Vlogs ♪ Memphis, can you tell everybody, good morning and happy Valentine's Day? Say, good morning guys! Happy Valentine's Day! This is the best day of my life ever! I got all the loves! Oh! I have a t-shirt idea! Yep! In the comments you guys, tell us, if we should make this t-shirt. Ok, are you ready? We're gonna make a t-shirt with Memphis on it, with her snuggling. And we're gonna say, Siberian Husky Life! The snuggle is real! Look at that! The snuggles is real! I think... Would you guys want a shirt that said that? Cause I think it's adorable! Happy Valentine's Day Oakley! Oh sure! See how you are? I started talking to the audience and you're like, hey can we play with this squeaky ball? What are you doing? She's like, I'm just gonna sit right here! I might even fall down! That's what we said, the snuggles is real! Yep! I don't know if you guys saw yet, but Memphis' brother is the number one Siberian Husky in the United States right now. Your brother is! Her actual brother, her litter mate brother is the number one Husky in the United States right now. His name is Moe. Yeah, I don't know why... If you look him up, his name is Moe. Highlanders take it to the limit! What are you doing? Shelby's like, I'm gonna get in the middle of your shot mom, cause I want to be the center of attention. I'll show you what I'm laughing at in a second. So yes, it is Valentine's Day. Happy Valentine's Day everybody! Jamie and I just got done eating lunch and now we are going to start painting the office finally. I know, like we've been saying it for forever. We have a hard time, sometimes really committing, but we've got our paint color figured out. We've got the floor figured out. Kind of got the desk figured out. Kind of got the computer that I'm gonna buy figured out. But the painting has to come first. So that is what we're gonna start. Now I'll show you what I was laughing at. This! Hi! Whoa Memphis! It's so bright behind you! You look like just a silhouette! It's just a silhouette! Why are you sitting on a table? She's like, well you guys were having lunch and then I sat up here. You are dark! Alright, so Jamie's wiping down the walls a little bit. If you ever want to know what works really well on white walls? Dry towel and squeegee. Is that what you're using? And it's actually the fabric squeegee. Like the gas station type? Yeah, the same exact ones at the gas station. You can get them at any car place. But yeah, it works really good for washing the walls. So we're just kind of going over a little bit. We still gotta... We still gotta do the cove part. There's some dust and some... What are they called? A little bit of cobwebs. So we gotta get those a little bit. We gotta take these off. But I wanted to show you guys what color this room used to be. Look it! You can see... Let's see if I can get it to focus. So here's the register. At one point in time this room was like a... Baby, baby blue color. You can kind of see it in there. And now it's like a... I don't know what you'd call this. Flesh toned. It's pink. Yeah, it's pretty pink. And when you look at it up against the white... Yeah. You can see that it's pink. It's a big box store. Yeah. Walmart. Walmarts are gray or blue, aren't they? No, they changed their color to the brown. Yeah. So when we first moved into this house... Four years ago. We kind of left our other house... In a hurry because we were renting it out. And we had a renter for it. And this is going back four years. When we first started vlogging. So if you guys wanna go watch that process. You gotta go watch some old videos. But anyway, when we first moved into this house... We kind of just... We painted the kitchen and the living room. And that was it. We're like, we'll do the rest of them after we moved in. It's been four years. Our idea was... We'll redo the floors and we'll paint. We'll do all that after we moved in. Still have the same floors in three of the rooms. And plus the bathrooms. Still the same paint. And we've been saying we're gonna do it. We've just been so busy. In our defense, we did redo the floors once. In the kitchen. We did that. We did the hallway, the living room and the kitchen. We didn't like this floor. It didn't work out well for dogs. It was the new line from the company. It was supposed to be good for dogs. But it wasn't. Yeah, not at all. So we did do a little bit there. But now we're actually going through room by room. This is the first room we're gonna do. And then... Probably the next room we're gonna paint is gonna be... Possibly the bedroom or the spare bedroom. It will either be our bedroom or the spare bedroom. Cause I know some of you guys have seen... Our bedroom has this... Glorious pink carpet. Which is my least favorite in the whole house. And it's old and has been there for forever. And then the spare bedroom... Has this amazing red carpet. Which, you know... This room is actually the same color as the office too. It's a weird fleshy tone. I think they just kind of painted it that color when they went to sell the house. Yeah, I think they bought a five gallon bucket. And just painted it. Yeah, because the rooms are probably dedicated for kids or something. You know, blue room, red room, pink room, whatever. I mean, this is some serious red. Yeah, you know, I bet their walls were red too. It makes me wonder. The problem with this carpet... See that? That is that glued down stuff. Yeah, I know. It's the same thing with this room. Yeah, so when we go to do the floor... In these rooms... We've got to get that off. Which is a pain in the butt! But... It's a work in progress. What are we doing for Valentine's Day? We're painting! Yeah, we were supposed to do this yesterday, but we were busy. Yeah, we went to your mom's for her birthday. It was my mom's birthday yesterday. We took them out there. We did something else that delayed the paint job until today. No, we were prepping. We moved a lot of stuff. Yeah, we did do a lot of that. And then, we ended up having to go to your mom's. By the time we got home, we were like, let's just watch a movie. We'll do it tomorrow. And then, tomorrow... We're actually going on a short little road trip. Which will kind of be like our Valentine's Day, sort of. Since we got to go somewhere tomorrow. Yeah, we'll just use that as an excuse. I love you every day. I don't need a special day for it. Look at this, we're already filling our drawers. Okay, I got to go let the dogs in. They're like, we get Valentine's? Show me them awesome cookies. Awesome cookies. If you guys didn't see the recipe, we put it up on Monday on the dogs channel. I know, I think this is the first time I've made cookies for the dogs where they've been. Had that good snap. Yeah. Look how much she drooled. She's like, these are the best. You know they're good if Shelby eats it without complaint. That's how you know they're good. Looks like a pop tart. It does. Somebody has challenged me to make dog pop tarts. Yeah, I think I'm gonna try it. Somebody else has challenged me to make dog pizza. It just has to look like pizza. It doesn't have to be pizza. So yeah, I think... Well, dogs aren't supposed to eat tomatoes. Tomatoes aren't necessarily all pizza. True. We could use like something else red. But people have been challenging me now to make different things. I've been challenged to make a dog banana split. The pizza. Doggy pop tarts. And I've been writing them down as people have been suggesting them. So, you guys have ideas for something I should try. Oh, and dog Oreos. Which, that one I'm excited about. So yeah, we're gonna have some... Unique dog treats, I guess, we're gonna try. I don't know, we'll see. Was that good? Shelby's like, it's all gone. Happy Valentine's Day, baby. She's like, um, my cookie's gone. Can I have another one? You just had lunch and a cookie. I'm pretty sure you don't need anymore. You girls are not gonna be able to hang out in here. Cause we're painting. I had to show you guys my awesome paint clothes. Every time we painted for... You got some interesting colors on there. Yeah, a long time. I don't know where the pink was. I don't think we painted pink. Oh, the orange is the cabinets. That is Greg's house. And here's his bedroom. And this was the fence. This is the living room at our old house. Seems like you get that right leg a lot more than the left one. There's black from the cabinets downstairs. Here, these are my painting pants. I make a mess when I paint. Apparently so. I'm really good at it. The wall looks very bare. Alright, before... Now we'll have to get you in the same pose for after. Jamie's removing the trim. Nails through the hole. And it should come right off. See if the magic works. Hey, look at that. It comes right off. That's what color the room used to be. Oh gosh, it's blue there. Very blue. That was probably the first color it was then. Nifty. Look, paint. That's what color it's gonna be. It'll be beautiful. It's definitely gray. It definitely is. It's the first time I've ever painted a room gray, ever. Kind of excited. We'll see. Hopefully it's the right color gray. I think it is. If not, we can do it again. That's just what I wanna do. So we're in here working and I'm gonna bet puppy's right here. Aww. Memphis. Memphis, are you okay? She's so mad. She's like, guys, I wanna be in there with you and I'm stuck out here in the hallway because of baby gate. Hey baby. Hi. We love you. We're not trying to be mean. We just don't want you to get in the paint. That's all. We'll be done soon. I swear. Alright. Nice face. Do it. Should I paint the heart? No. No, I can't paint the heart. No, just paint the wall. It's so pretty. It's definitely gray. Remember, it'll dry a little bit darker. It'll dry darker? Wow. It's weird with the light but I'm gonna try to move around and get different aspects of the light. It's actually a lot... Well, it's probably because it's wet. I like it. I like it more when it's all done though. Did anybody notice Boo hanging in the middle of the room as I walked past here? Boo. Looks good. If I do this slow, maybe I can do it in one coat. Yeah. Looks like it's gonna take... Looks like it'll take it in one. Bare paint. I got the more expensive stuff. I didn't get the guaranteed one coat though. They have a guaranteed one coat paint. That looks pretty good and it's not like you're going over a dark color. That's why I didn't pay that extra money. It's ridiculous how much they want to do that stuff. Alright. It's now two. Let's do this! It's Valentine's Day so we're going out to dinner in our kitchen. From Applebee's because we've been painting. How long have we been painting for? You've been painting longer than me. Yeah. A while. We're gonna eat some food now. What color does it look to you guys? We're trying to figure out. In the camera it looks gray. We're trying to figure out if it looks purple or if it actually looks gray like it's supposed to be. Because it kind of looks... It kind of looks purple. In the camera it looks gray. It's hard to say. It's also a big empty room right now. It is a big empty room. Well, sort of. We're gonna either paint those doors or replace those doors with white doors so they won't look like that. Because I don't like that at all. Jamie's working on some of the trim right now. I think I'm gonna come help him do that shortly. So... Progress has been made. I wanted to look at the floor comparison now. Okay, so this is the floor we're gonna get. This is what it'll look like next to the wall. Which it won't be super next to the wall because it'll be down there. Yeah, but you kind of get the idea. That's what it'll look like. So picture that all over the place. Oh, don't touch it though. I'm not going to. So it'll have that... Yeah. I think it'll look nice. I like this floor. It's very pretty. Pretty cool. Yay! So it kind of looks like a room again. Definitely looks different now that it's dry. We painted the trim, painted around the doors and now it's super late and we're going to bed. But it's looking better. Progress is being made. Alright you guys, it's time for bed. Shelby and daddy already went to bed, didn't they? Memphis is like, I think I'll go to bed too.
