CAMPING WITH THE DOGS 08/12/2017

Well, good morning Pawdience! Do you girls already know what's going on? Memphis and I went out to the car show this morning. I didn't really film anything. There was a lot of loud music playing. You know what's going on? Shelby, do you want to go camping? Wanna go camping? We're going camping! I know it's so exciting! So we are currently packing up the camper to go camping. Probably only gonna be a one night thing, but we haven't gone in a long time. The weather is finally getting nice and we're like, you know what? Let's just do it. Let's stop thinking about it and let's just go and let's just do it. So we're going camping. Not sure if any of our other friends are gonna show up or not, but Greg's coming with us. We're going to Tomahawk Lake campground with the dogs. I think they're excited. These two are excited. This one is excited because these two are excited. Wanna go camping Oakley? You want your umbrella? Yeah, go camping with your umbrella. Alright, let's get ready to go! So we're packed up. We got the trailer. We're on the road. We decided to take the shorter road to get to the campground. But I didn't realize they were doing construction on this road. Which a second ago was really, really nice. Yeah. Brand new road, you know what I mean? But now it's a dirt road. They didn't finish putting the pavement down. No. It looks like we're almost at the end of it. Well, it'll be nice when it's all finished. Yeah, cause I think they did the other stretch that we're gonna hit here in a minute. Yeah, I think they did too. Cause I think when we drove this before, that was why I wanted to go this way. I like going this way cause it's not 32. We normally take 32 over this way. I don't know, it's just boring and bland. And I feel like, oh yeah, the road's nice again. I feel like going this way, the road's a little bit... The view is a little bit more... You feel like you're more in the woods. Cause it's not the highway. So it's prettier. Dogs are all in the back. They're ready to go camping. And the kayak's on the roof. Jamie got it up there. Jamie and Greg got it up there. And Greg's behind us. I'd show you, but you can't really see him. Dude, you're in a bad spot. Look at where you are. Oh look at... no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no. Go down. He's already got a big chunk out of his shell. We gotta get you off the road. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Wow, I thought turtles were slow. I gotcha. I'm just helping you cross the road. I'm supposed to put you in the direction you were going. And you wanted to go this way. I found a turtle. Okay, there you go. See you later, bye. He's booking. I don't think I've ever seen a turtle run that fast. That sucker was moving. Even after I put him in the grass, he was going that way. So when you help a turtle cross the road, you're supposed to put him on the side of the road where they were headed. Otherwise he'll just turn around and go back in the road. So I put him on this side of the road and I set him down on the grass and he just took off. Save the turtle! Alright, we're on the campground road. We are heading to the campground. Hopefully we can find it. There's two campgrounds back here, so we gotta figure out which one we're going to. We made it to the campground! We're slowly getting things set up. Got the dogs out on their picket line. What you think Shelby? You're camping? Now you're comfortable, huh? Now you're comfy? Yeah, that's what I thought. I know, we're camping. It's amazing! I know, I'm over here. It's alright. I know! I'm right here. See? Right here. Remember last time we went camping and we set up a hammock? This hammock fits two people. I know, it's cool. It comes with everything in this cool bag. Including the straps. I don't know if the bag stays attached or not. We're gonna set it up and find out. Hold on! You get to play in the hammock in a minute. Let's see if the whole thing... I don't know if it comes out... Oh! Oh! Oh! Look at that! The bag is attached. See now? I think there's two different kinds of straps. Maybe, cause there's... I'm so confused. There's these... I don't know what these are. Cause Greg's got straps. We'll figure it out. Ok. Oh maybe. Alright, we'll figure it out. I think we're probably gonna need them actually. Go Greg, go! Ah, you don't have to clean. I think we tried that last time. Yeah, can you do it barefoot? You do it. If you take one more step, you'd be awesome. You do it barefoot. No way. You gotta throw it. Take a step. That's where the... That's where the cleats come in. What? Hold your ponies. Alright, let's hang this up. So, the straps are adjustable. Depending on how far apart the trees are. Did you seriously just spill the water? This hammock fits two people. So I think it needs to be up a little higher. There you go. You're gonna want to start with it about waist high. Can you do it? Woah! That looks... Conforming. Very conforming. You can fit two people in it. Yeah. You definitely could. I'm just swinging. Yeah, easily. Oh gosh. I have no clue how high I'm swinging. I just know I'm swinging. Shelby's like, I want in the hammock, guys. I don't know if she can use this one. I think their claws might poke a hole in this. Because it's under pressure. Oh, right. This one's not for dogs, sorry. You can try it. Maybe later. Shelby, what did you see? Did you see something? What? Did you think you see something? Did you... What did you see? Memphis's ears. She's like, wait. Wait. Oh my goodness. What's happening? Oh my goodness! Shelby! Look at Shelby! Thor's like, I want to get to Shelby! Memphis! Oh my goodness! Hi! You made it! Charles and Thor have made it to the campground. Now, we're doing our favorite thing that we always do when we go camping. First, Oakley's going crazy. She knows we're doing our favorite thing that we always do when we go camping. The guys are over there making some food. The pie irons are making some sauerkraut and some brats and some pie iron sandwiches. Charles and Thor are out there in the woods taking pictures and looking for blueberries. Memphis is like, how come I'm not in the woods? I would totally go in the woods. Oakley's just mad cause she knows there's food over there. She's like, I smell it. I smell all the food and I want it. I want the food. Want some water? I'll get it for you. Making food. You're having a sandwich too. I forgot. I think your sandwich is perfect. Those have sauerkraut in them. Yeah, we got to get the krauts going. That's going to be amazing. The krauts and hot dogs. Good stuff. Everybody's having dinner now. Somebody couldn't be patient until everybody was done. While the peoples were done. Thor, we're going to blame you. Everybody's having their dinner. Shelby of course had to get stuff on her dinner. So that she would eat it. She's eating it pretty good. Which is good. And you, you're just being a little loud mouth lady. A little loud mouth lady. Yeah, you are. We made corn. Wait, Oakley gets a bite first. Take that bite right there. Take a nibble. You got to nibble it. That's not... Shelby can do it. You want some? Come on. You want some? You got to bite it. There you go. Bite it. Did you forget how to eat corn? You haven't ate it? It's been a whole year. Oh my goodness. You got to rotate it for her. She can't do it. Oakley can do it. You got to bite it. Bite it. No? You want to try it? She's like, I don't want the part Oakley licked. You want to nibble? Alright, you want to nibble? There's a little nibble. There's the nibble. Shelby's like, I don't want corn. Alright, I'll eat this part you didn't lick. Yeah, sure. Go. All I see is... A collar. There's another collar. Where's Thor? There he is. Whoa. Thor's got the rocking collar. Whoa. Taking the dogs for a quick walk around the campground. Maybe. It's like this dark out though. For real. Oh my gosh. You guys are a riot. Use them feet. Row, row, row. Is that fun? You guys listening for the coyotes? Did you hear the coyotes? Yeah? Thor's like, she's pecking at me. I don't know if this will pick that up. Those are way closer. That's crazy. They're all around us right now. I don't get nervous telling her I'm coming from three different directions. I just heard that. We have a fire and we have food over the fire you can't see because it's dark. Pie. Iron pie. Look at that giant log in there. That looks pretty cool. I do have to say, that's pretty... Right there. I did, but you scared them off before I could... There he goes. There's a little... Just leave it. Leave it. Let's get him. Look at him. He's going to go higher. Don't do it, dude. Not this way. Turn those lights off. Let him come back. That's so funny. See, he was going to come and pet Thor. That's what he was trying to do. He walked up right next to Thor. Not afraid at all. That's so crazy. Crazy. How weird. No fear squirrel friend. Flying squirrel friend keeps coming back and trying to take things off the table. He's pretty cute. He just flew... Can't really see because it's dark. He flew from a tree behind Jamie to a tree way over here. By where Greg is. Which is actually a good distance. He swooped pretty low. Yeah, that was nuts. That was pretty crazy. We're standing here by the fire listening to him jump around in the trees. That's pretty crazy. I saw a shooting star. No way. Finally, that's a Perseids meteor. That's the first one you've seen? Yeah. What? Lay down on the ground, dude. That was super bright. I saw that through the tree. You should have seen the ones we were seeing down by the lake. Uh-huh. I'd show you guys up but it just looks dark on this camera. He's all the way up at the top. We got the generator running. That was crazy. There he goes. How cool. That was nuts and he's off in the woods there. So cool. Oh my goodness. These girls are so tired. They're already out. Shelby's up there on the bed. I can't turn all the lights on because the battery was slowly dying on the camper. There was a few things I was going to show you guys before I forgot. The LED colors that you saw them wearing a little bit. I will put an affiliate link for these down in the video description below. You can actually get them made custom now. So like this one is orange but the box is yellow and the clip is pink but the lights on this one are rainbow! So you can actually pick a bunch of... It's so cool. You can pick a bunch of different features on them now. The girls all have super custom ones that we got. This one is Shelby's. You already saw them wearing them. Hers is pink and black with pink stitching. Memphis's was green and black with white stitching. I don't know where Oakley's is. Oh! It's right here. Oakley's is white.
