Watching the Birds Fight

Well, good, wonderful, beautiful morning Pawdience! We're out here hanging out in the yard, listening to all the critters. Remember the other day I said, one of these days I'm gonna walk out here and the trees are suddenly gonna have leaves? Well, ours don't, but look! That one's getting leaves. I think that's a red oak tree. That one is barely getting them and then there's a couple over there that are getting them. So the leaves... Oh, and I wanted to show you guys the apple tree. So it looks like Miss Oakley's apple trees made it through another winter. Some of our apple trees aren't doing too good. We've been thinking about planting new ones, but the apple trees have little tiny leaves on them. Hopefully they'll get some flowers as well. It looks like we're gonna have apples. What's over there Memphis? A bird. It's a bird. I got Miss Oakley out here. Her and I are getting ready to take a walk. Jamie's getting ready to work on the camper. It almost looks like we did use a glossier last time. But I don't think it matters because this isn't glossy. This is just the only thing glossy. I don't think this should be super glossy. Well, I can get you matte if you want matte. This is a semi-gloss? That's semi-gloss. Is it gonna look like cat? I don't know. So anyway... This is looking pretty dirty and gross. And it's driving Jamie nuts that it's white. Yep. So like the front where it was starting to turn yellow from the sun or whatever. I'm gonna paint that black. So now it'll all be black. Are you gonna take all the screws out of it and do it? No. No? No, I don't think so. No? Okay. I mean, unless you want nice shiny looking screws on it. I have no idea. That'll bond to the metal or the plastic. I mean... Yeah, I don't know. I could. They wanna make it look neat. That's up to you. I just noticed there were screws on there. I didn't notice that. Nope. We're slowly working on the camper. We're hoping to take it out in about two weeks. Two weeks, hun. Right. I'm just gonna paint this then real quick. Okay, you paint that. I'm gonna take this dog for a walk. Wash and paint. What do you think? Yeah, wash it then paint it. Wanna go for a walk? You wanna sniff my tire? Okay, let's go for a walk. Well, I didn't do the bottom of it yet. But I'd say that looks pretty good for a can of spray paint. You guys saw it a minute ago. Gosh, it was ugly. It was getting all mossy and green. Now... Hopefully, I can just keep it clean. Do you guys know where I am? It is this time of year. Like I said, we're working on the camper. Which means... We gotta come in here and work on the camper. I don't have the expansion open right now. We closed it up last year. We didn't super clean it. We never really do when we close it up. We usually just empty it out. But... It's pretty... Empty. All the stuff's gotta get taken out and washed. Yesterday, Jamie and I did... Go through and organize this drawer. I took the old drawer thing from the house and brought it out here. So... This is really nice. The drawer is actually organized now. We did do that little bit of work. I gotta find a thing to put the toothpicks in. Cause they spilled all over. But um... Yeah! Everything... This room needs a good wash down. Everything in here needs to be washed. We need to make sure the toilet and all that stuff is working. We need to unload the dang rocks. From the last time we went up to the UP. We still have... All of the rocks are out here still. And dog bags. So all that stuff needs to go in. Get that all organized. There's our geodes. Do you guys remember that last year? We smashed some geodes open while we were camping. Yep! I think we're gonna keep this camper for at least one more year. And then maybe we'll trade it in for an all seasons camper. I was really kind of hoping that we could find a company to work with us. Or... So we had two ways we were gonna do it. We were gonna try to find a company to work with us with the camper. Or our Patreon page. If you guys don't know, we do have a Patreon page. I try really hard to use it and do rewards and stuff on it. But if we hit a certain level on our Patreon page... We talked about getting either a motorhome or an all seasons camper. So we can travel more. Cause right now... We've said this before. This camper has an open bottom. So we can't use it when it's really cold out. Because it's not insulated and all the stuff underneath it would freeze. So we've been kind of looking into that. But I think we're gonna keep it for at least another year before we really start looking. Unless I find a really good deal. I mean, it's a nice camper. Again, I have this side closed in. But I think our first trip will be in two weeks. So we're gonna get this sucker ready. Do you wanna go for a walk? Do you girls wanna go for a walk? Yeah? Do you? Oh my gosh! Yeah? Oh my! Really? I think they're excited or something. We're going! So... A slight change of plans in what we're doing today. I was out there cleaning out the camper. I got a little bit of it done. I got the rocks taken out of there. I got some of the other stuff cleaned up out there. Now, Greg just showed up. He's currently outside with Jamie. They're looking at his Jeep. I'm not exactly sure when these will go up because we're gonna film all three tonight and then edit them and upload them over time. So, if you want to see those, check it out. I'm glad they're coming back finally. I'm glad we've finally taken the time to do this. Wasn't really what we were expecting to do today, but we figured, why the heck not? And I don't think I've said it yet today, but today, the day I'm filming this is actually Mother's Day. So, happy Mother's Day to all the awesome moms out there. My mom didn't want to do anything for Mother's Day. We're gonna go out to dinner or something later this week because my brother has a little minor surgery on Tuesday. So, we're not sure how he's... Nothing major, just something minor. We're not sure how he's gonna be feeling. So, we figured that might be good to all go out and nobody will have to worry about food. Daniel won't have to worry about cooking. We'll just go out to eat. That'll be later on this week. So, we're getting ready to film the videos and I think Memphis wants to be a part of it. You're literally laying in the chair. You really do think you're a people, don't you? She's like, oh watch, I'll sit right up. Oh, nope, just shifting her feet. What are you doing? Getting comfortable. So that when there's food, I'm close. We need that chair. She's like, I don't care, it's mine. What do you think? She's like, I don't like that you guys. Memphis is like, wait, was the chair moving? Oh, here let's see. Forget that. Alright, let's film some stuff. Hey, guess what? What? You get to edit these. Oh yeah? So, these will all be edited by you. So, apparently these two Robins don't like each other. You see them out there? Those are... Yeah, there was a boy and a girl out here earlier. He's got his scruff up on the back of his head. Yeah, they're all kind of puffed up. They're trying to eat all of Jamie's grass seed. Yeah. Oh, there's the girl out there. Oh, that's what they're fighting over. Oh no, that's not a girl, is it? I don't know, that one's all puffy too. That one doesn't look so red. It looks more brown. It looks like a female. I don't know. Is it? Yeah. I think you're watching Robin mating right now. Oh, look at her. Look, she's all puffy. Yeah, she's looking... Yeah, that is definitely... She's like, look at how pretty I am. And these ones are running away now. Girls are scary, run. Right? She's really big compared to them too. Where did she go? There she is. She needs food. She's eating my grass seed. That's what I just said, they're all eating your grass seed. Oh, those two are fighting. Whoa. I missed that. I missed the aerial part of the combat. We're gonna have to show you the clip from the back of our camera. Oh, yeah. We can do that. Maybe that picked it up. Yeah, I bet it did. Well, you see Memphis? Do you see the Robins? You see them out there? She's like, I'll go play with those birds. I'll totally go play with them. I don't think so. She definitely sees them though. Now, we're gonna open some mitten crates and have some food. Leave the birds alone. So, this is the realistics of filming these videos. Oakley decided to go under the table and get stuck in the corner. What are you doing under there? She couldn't figure out how to turn around. Craig saved you! Hi. Alright. Back to mitten crate stuff. We did it! We did two mitten crates and another thing. And now... Are we really gonna go live on Twitch? I don't know. So... So, I started a new Twitch channel. Like I need anything else to do. I can't even keep up on Arcade Snow Dogs. I started a Twitch channel. It's twitch.tv slash ArcadeSnowDogs And uh... We might live stream on there today. You guys won't know that because this will go up after we live stream. But... Hey, you guys follow us on Twitch if you wanna know when we go live. Cause... That might happen. I haven't even opened it yet though. But I wanna play it. Cause it's awesome. I know, right? It looks fun. These girls just finished their dinner. After nibbling on all the mitten crate stuff. Yeah. After starting what feels like twenty million different projects today. And not really finishing any of them. I guess I finished some. We... We're gonna call it a night. Greg came over. We recorded a couple of videos. We played some video games afterwards. We didn't end up streaming. I got some things set up. But... Maybe next time we'll stream. Memphis is already sound asleep.
