Kira the Husky Puppy Learning to Swim

Well, good wonderful beautiful morning Pawdience. Can you tell that I blew out Shelby's coat? You look so nice. We didn't do it for too long. Actually, I worked on all of them, but not for too long. Just for a little bit. Kira's like, let's do zoomies everybody! Shelby, no! Shelby, we gotta go to the vet in like 15 minutes. Don't get all dirty. Hey, hey, get out of there. Hey, hey, we got to go to the vet. The whole point of blowing you out yesterday, was so that you wouldn't be that dirty. And she's gone. Yep. You're gonna be dirty. You're gonna have your ears gonna be filled of dirt. No wonder you have itchy ears. Really? Thanks. Thanks for that. Push her out of one hole and she goes straight to the next hole. What am I gonna do with you? She's like, you're gonna let me dig because you love it. It's exactly what you're gonna do. Come on puppy! Oh, I should show you guys. So it's end of, well, middle of July. Do you see what I see? All over on this tree and then how about this tree? Should we check this tree? What do you see? All over the place. We've really got to learn to trim trees. I feel like these apples would be so... Really? Really? What are you doing? Kira. She's like, well, these leaves are great. Yeah, just wait till there's apples. Great. Anyway, there is apples. They're all over these trees. Hey, excuse me. You're gonna hurt my tree. Hey, no, you cannot hurt the tree. I'm gonna bend this around another limb so you can't eat it. We got the big pool mostly up yesterday and filled, we filled it with the well water though. So it's gonna have to filter quite a few times before it's nice and clean. It's good water. It's just not super crispy clear water. All right, Shelby, you and I got to go to the vet. Now I got to wipe your face off. Memphis, really? Really? All right, let's go clean you up. Come on Kira. Oh my goodness. Dogs. Where you going? Get my stick. I forgot my stick guys. Forgot it. I'm gonna bring it with me. So what are our goals for today, Shelby? We are hoping that Shelby gained a little bit of weight and we are hoping that she's no longer anemic. My Jeep is beeping at me because all my ParkSense stuff is broken from when we drove across country. Anyway, we're heading to the vet's office. That's what we're hoping for, right Shelby? Yeah. All right, we're heading to the vet's office. Are you just waiting for treats? Is that all you want? Yeah. All right, we're leaving the vet and I was wrong. I was wrong Shelby. She's not getting her anemia and blood work done today because it's only been seven days. So they want to give her a couple more days on that. So we're actually gonna do that in two weeks. She seems to be doing a lot better because of all of that and then her urinary test, they'll test in two weeks. Today we were there because she had the thing in her ear, which they said is all cleared up. So the little sore she had in her ear, which is probably due to all the sand in your ear. How many times did you shake and throw sand at Dr. Danielle and I? All right, I'm cranking this AC and we're heading back home. What do you think of that, huh? All right. So yeah, I don't know how much I said in the car, but we're gonna get all the blood tests and stuff done in a couple weeks. So Shelby's doing good. Your ears doing good. What do you think? What do you think? It's starting to get cloudy. You think we're actually gonna get that thunderstorm they call for girls? What do you think, huh? We will see. It might get crazy. Kira, there's a bigger pool you can play in with colder water. That water is probably hot. Get in this one, look. Here's this pool right here. Kira, look at this pool. Like whoa, we're almost unplugging things. Crazy dogs. Crazy, crazy dogs. She's gotta learn that there's water in here. There's water in here. She's like, yeah, but there's water in here. Yeah, but that's probably like bath water right now. So now we have the pool. Whoa, but just like last year getting them to actually get in it is a whole nother story. Sometimes I'll get in it, but most of the time they're like, mmm, how about no. They seem to like the lower pools better. But whatever, Jamie and I will get in it. It's like 85% humidity today and I feel like I can't breathe. Shelby, we did this already today. What am I gonna do with you? They're all like, it's too hot to play out here. We would like to go back inside and already see. You're right. It's too hot for Huskies today. Too hot for Huskies. Let's go back inside. Everybody back inside. It's so much nicer in here. Time for them to eat some lunch anyway. You ready for lunch? All right, let's feed you some lunch. The lens fogged up? It's fogged up. Wow, it's so humid. The lens is fogged up. My glasses did that a second ago too. She's not paying attention to it, because she's eating all the apples. Memphis, wanna get this? Ready? Get it Kira. You know, I bet if we put an apple in it. Yeah, right? That would work. Ball attack. Gonna have an apple fun. Ready Memphis? Here it comes. Ready? Yep, yep. Excuse me, you just shot a ball at me. I know. End of the sun is a little bright. I don't know. Just get in the pool. We're like two inches from it. Get it Kira. Get it. Bounce it off the ground. Or hit the fence. Go get it. All right. Wanna get the ball? Get it. Go get it Shelby. She's like, that's too fast, I didn't see it. Probably should have bounced it off the fence there. She saw it. It's too hot. So today is actually the next day. We filmed yesterday, waited for that storm to come. Storm never came. Now it's the next day and it's ridiculously hot. With ridiculous, whatever it's called. Oh my gosh. I didn't know where it was gonna land. Heat index. It's, what did they say? 97 with the heat index? 90% humidity. I need to go put shorts back on. Again? I think it's just the humidity. Makes us constantly feel like we're soaked. I can't breathe in this air. Right? I still have glitter on my face. In the pool. Wanna get in the pool? They're like, I don't know. We'll see about that. Hi Shelby. Super warm. Yeah. Hi Shelby. You like the pool, huh? Don't drink too much of it. It's got chlorine in it. Don't drink a little bit. See, she likes to get in it and stand. And walk around in it. It's not deep enough for her to swim. But I feel like she does like this. I think it feels good. Does that feel good? Oh yeah, it feels good, huh? Oh yeah, that's amazing. You like your pool, don't you? You like it, oh yeah. Come here Kira. Come here Kira, look. Hi, come here. Oh, good girl. She's like, no way guys. Good job. I think she needs her life jacket. Come here. Yeah, I think she needs her life jacket. She's like, I like it, but I don't like it that much. Memphis, you want in? She's like, yeah dad, make me step so I can do this on my own. Yeah. Oh, this is so good. Memphis is like, I like it. She's like, I don't need to swim. This just feels good. Feels good on your belly, huh? Feel good on your belly? Like, yeah guys, this feels amazing. Are we in the pool together? It's like a big bathtub. Yeah, what you think, huh? Gonna swim, huh? Yeah, this will be better. Let me hold the handle for her. That's how you do it. Yeah, good job. She's like, I don't know how I feel about this guy. Yeah, good job. Good job. How you feel? She did much better in the lake. Oh, that's a good girl. There you go. She's like, maybe not. Maybe not, maybe not. See you later, bye. Now we need a bigger pool. Well, it seems there was a new toy explosion in here. Was there a toy explosion? So many new toys. So, Jamie and I did a live stream on the dogs channel and then we did one on the vlog channel where we opened up mail. It's chaotic to do, but it seems to be a little bit easier than trying to edit mail into a video. And we get the excuse to go live and all that, but there ends up being toy explosion everywhere. Kira didn't seem to mind. We played out in the pool for a little bit, didn't we? We all played out in the pool for a little bit. You're in my seat with your wet butt. It's alright, I'm still cleaning stuff up so you can stay there. Yeah? Alright, I'll let you stay there. We forgot to film a good night clip so I'm going to do that now.
