Let's Make My Dog A Birthday Cake!

I'm trying to teach her not to jump up after she gives her crazy woos. Good wonderful beautiful morning Pawdience! The sun is shining! It's a new day! Real quick here, I'm gonna talk to you guys about something that some of you saw posted on our Facebook page. (*Shelby growls*) If Eleanor let's me... (*Shelby growls*) I love you too! So, some of you may have seen the GoFundMe post that we posted on our Facebook page and I posted a couple of other places. If you want to know more, there's a link to it down below. I don't expect you to donate, but like the whole story is written out there. So, if I sound a little bit scattered here, it's written there and makes it a little easier. You guys know my brother and my sister-in-law and their two kids John Matthew and Charlotte Rose. My sister-in-law Danielle has been in the hospital for... As of the day I'm filming this, I believe it's been two straight weeks. Um... They... She went in for a lot of pain. They ended up finding a mass. As of the time I'm filming this, we don't have results on that mass yet. But they might be in the GoFundMe by the time you guys see this. I don't know. But anyway... Basically what I'm trying to say is they're going through a medical nightmare right now. Uh... We don't... We don't know how long she's going to have to stay in the hospital. She's in a hospital that is four hours away from our home. So... My brother's been going down there. I've been taking care of Sadie. Uh... My parents have been taking care of their kids. And things are just a little bit chaotic and crazy here. And I appreciate every single one of you that saw those posts and reached out. And I appreciate every single one of you that donated. Or shared the post. Or anything else. All of that is... Really appreciated. Eleanor, you make things so much better. Cause you just make me laugh. So anyway, I know the whole beginning of this is a little bit chaotic. Chaotic. And like I said... If you want to read in more detail what's going on... Kira, what the heck was that? And it looks like this is going to be at least another few weeks. Once we find out if she has to have surgery or not have surgery. We're going to have to figure out... My parents are going down this weekend and taking the kids down. And I'm going to have Indy for the weekend. So be prepared for some Indy content. Because she's going to be here for three days. So yeah... And no, Sadie's not staying here with me. My brother's dog is staying down at her house because she's more comfortable there. And if you guys don't know, he lives right down the road from me. Like I can walk to his house from here. So I've been going down there and spending some time with her and things like that. But yeah, that's the beginning of the video today. Between that and these two being crazy. So now I'm getting ready to go to the dentist. I have to go drop my Jeep back off at the dealership. Because one of the lifts for the door apparently doesn't work. I think it happened when they were fixing it, but we're not sure. So they're going to get that fixed for me thankfully. And hopefully they'll only have my Jeep for a day. Because I really like having it back. You guys are insane! Oh! And what else are we doing? By the time you guys see this, it may already be past March 13th. But we're going to make a birthday cake for Kira today. Kira! Kira! Is your birthday coming? Are you going to be four? How is that even possible? Oh my goodness! Anyway, I'm going to go to the dentist and get back here so we can make a birthday cake. What's going on in here? Oh no! You were being so good! She's letting you do it! She's like, this is great! I don't mind this at all! I can't believe how much it's coming out in the middle of her back. It's so crazy! It doesn't even show that it's coming out. I know! Show everybody how it works! Push the button! Push the button! It sucks all the hair in! It's a little dog grooming vacuum cleaner we got. We had to do an Amazon review on and it works really good! It does work really good! These two are like, we don't want to turn. Thank you! But Elinor is all about it! Hey! I'm not for chewing on! She's like, I would like to chew on you while he's scratching me. She's like, this is great! Look at me! I'm getting petted! It's amazing! I love it! Oh my goodness! The fur! It's the shedding! Hey! You look so much cleaner! You look like a chef! Do I? Kind of! You need a chef's hat! I mean, you kind of look like you're getting ready to host a cooking show. Oh no! There's dog hair! So, as I said you guys, we are making... That's good! A birthday cake for the dogs. A carob mint birthday cake. Yeah! Carob! Not chocolate! Yeah! Not chocolate! Carob! That mint is good! Yeah! I wanted to buy a plant. It's not that strong. It's not as strong as you thought. No! No! It smells good though. I wanted to buy a plant. I don't know if you guys have seen. We've acquired some plants. We got this basil plant because I love fresh basil. Yeah! We got to use this! This is getting huge! I'm gonna make some hamburger tomato basil soup. We got a basil plant and then we got some chives. Fresh chives. Because it was cheaper to buy the plant for both of these than it was to buy this little thing. Which is crazy! Right! But they didn't have a mint plant. Yeah! I would bought one. I mean... I would put mint leaves in my coffee. It would be good in coffee. I know! Because I like mint. Because we make homemade ice cream. It would be good. Yeah! Actually, you can use that instead of a lot of... I don't know. Mint is good for you. You can just chew on the leaves. That's what you did. Yeah! That's what I just did. So, we're making a mint carob cake for the dogs. If you guys want to see this, it will have gone up over at the dogs channel. That's what we're doing. They're currently out there. They know what's happening because Kira is pacing back and forth to the door. Are we making the puppy scoops ice cream too? We are! I'm gonna make the puppy scoops ice cream so that she can have that with her cake when she does the taste test. So... And the sprinkles. We could put sprinkles on it if you want. There's sprinkles. There is sprinkles. I gotta find the birthday sprinkles for the cake. We're making a two tier cake by the way. See, I got my little... I saw the little pie tins. Yeah, that's right. Not a three tier cake. Right. Just a two tier cake. Two tiers? Yeah. And I've got whipped cream cheese that... I don't know if I'm gonna turn it pink or not. I haven't decided. Probably not. I'll probably leave it white and then put some fun sprinkles on it. Oh! Probably should have bought two of these in case this one didn't work. I mean, we have candles. Yeah, but... So, I bought this party sparkler. We might even have a number four. We... I bought a number four. If you guys don't know, Kira's turning four. But I wanted to get some pictures of the cake with this on it. So, we'll see if it works. I don't know how that's supposed to light up. If it works... Before everything catches on fire? I don't know. Cause that's not tall enough. Are you sure? I'm pretty sure. You can try it. Because they might not... They won't fall from there. Yeah. I mean, not that they won't fall from there. That's silly. But if we did what you just said and we got another table just like that and put two tables up, she would have room to step back and they would have room. I think you have formed a solution. Because you all came to bed and assumed your positions. Yes. These two sleep like this almost every single night. If you wonder why sometimes Jamie sleeps in the spare bedroom. It's not because we don't love each other. It's because he loves these dogs so much. If they beat him to bed, he will not make them move. Eleanor has her snuggle routine every single night. Once I lay down over there, she's going to jump up there and snuggle for five minutes. Then, she's going to lay right back here. I love you girls. Also, I got the dog canister in here finally. Their good night treats now have a space. We were just pulling out of here. But now, we'll have better treats. No! You already had them. Maybe you didn't. Maybe you don't need one? She's like, I don't know. I think I need one. Real quick update before we actually say good night. We don't have any new news as of right now on Danielle. We're still waiting on the biopsy.
