It's somebody's birthday tomorrow, which yes means you're gonna get another video from us tomorrow But it also means we are gonna make some super easy birthday cupcakes and ice cream You're gonna check it out. Let's check it out So we are actually making a box cake and some super easy ice cream I will put Amazon affiliate links to both of these things down in the video description below Every once in a while, it's fun to just make a box cake and do something a little bit different a little bit more simple Something you can just buy and put together. We thought it would be fun to share with you So let's get right to it make some cake and some super easy ice cream for Miss Memphis Bell Memphis is turning four years old. It's your birthday And for those of you that are wondering whose birthday is next Miss Oakley's birthday is next Her birthday is May the 8th, and she will be what we are estimating to be about 13 years old She will also be getting a birthday video So if you guys want to send her some cards or anything, I will put the PO box on the screen Just make sure you put Oakley birthday on it. So I know that it's for Miss Oakley's birthday. Let's make some cake Want to make some cake? I'll make some cake. How about you Shelby? Shelby's birthday too, but hers isn't until August Let's make some birthday cake Actually, we're making birthday cupcakes, but we know what we're talking about All right, you guys and as always if you want to see even more of our treat videos There will be a link up in the cards down in the video description below You can check out all the other treat videos including other birthday themed treat videos Let's get to making some red velvet cupcakes. So as I said, we're using a box cake. It is wheat free It is for dogs. This is the red velvet flavor There are multiple other flavors and this even has yogurt frosting in the box I haven't decided if I'm gonna use the yogurt frosting or if I'm gonna do my own thing or if I'm gonna do some yogurt frosting and Some of my own thing. I'll figure that out when I get that far. It's pretty much just like a box cake You would make for yourself Preheat your oven to 350 Pour the red velvet stuff into a bowl So the mix is in the bowl Now we're going to add one egg 3 quarters of a cup of water It's gonna turn red 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil You want to lick that cake batter, don't you? Now we're gonna stir it all together You can use a beater for this as well. I just decided to use a spoon Do you guys know what makes red velvet cake red if you know comment down below? A lot of people don't know this It's beets their real red velvet cake is red because of beets There's our cake batter it's just like regular cake batter, doesn't it now we're making mini muffins As I said, so we're gonna get our mini muffin pan If you guys want I'm actually making an affiliate link with a list of many of the things we use when baking for the dogs Which will include a lot of the pans we use and other things That'll be down in the video description below if you guys want to check that out. So my I'm actually gonna use this scoop To scoop as I drop it Scoop out the batter before I scoop out the batter We got a spray the pan I use Pam happy baking spray, it's got flour right in it Anything to do with that you don't normally like spray stuff ready. I already sprayed it it already made the noise Okay, now I'm gonna take this scoop and I'm going to use the scoop to fill the muffins Which should fill them to exactly what they need to be filled to and hopefully cause a lot less mess There is our cupcakes now we are going to put these in the oven for about 18 to 22 minutes and just like when you make regular cake when you Stick a toothpick in the middle and pull it out and it's clean then they're done How messy can we make the dogs? Oh my goodness lick some cake batter We think Shelby Would you like to try some cake batter Oakley's like I would like all the cake batter. Oh, shall we lick the little watch out Okay, you got it all over your nose Shelby's like nope, I would take finished cupcakes. Thanks You can't eat the spoon What do you think is it good everybody else likes it Shelby's like So this is a peanut butter flavor puppy scoops ice cream all you do open it up See, there'll be a little powdery mix inside Open that up Or back in here Then we're gonna take 2 thirds of a cup of hot tap water and slowly pour it in here And I'm using this end of the spoon and then we want to slowly mix that together Once it's all well blended together put the lid back on it and put it in the freezer Just put it in the freezer for at least five hours You want it to be pretty frozen and then before you serve it to your dogs? You're supposed to take it out and let it thaw on the counter for like 10 to 15 minutes And then you should be able to scoop it just like normal ice cream. So we're gonna put this in the freezer We're gonna finish making these cupcakes and we'll get right back to you guys The cupcakes are done. I left mine in for exactly 22 minutes and they came out perfect And now we're gonna make some frosting. So first we're gonna make the yogurt frosting that actually came in the box Put this in here So we take the yogurt frosting powder mix they gave us in two tablespoons of water Pour that in here And then we gotta whip it together until it's smooth If you need to add a little bit more water, you can you pretty much want it to be the consistency of frosting Hey, hey. Hey Just because your birthday doesn't mean you eat all the frosting There you go, once you get it on there it kind of like smooths itself back out looks like a glossy frosting All right, I'm trying some yogurt frosting birthday girl No, it's not actually your birthday yet. You got one more day. I want to try some yogurt frosting Try some yogurt frosting. So that's the best part about making any cake is eating some frosting Let's not forget about the ice cream. This was in the freezer overnight I just took it out and set it on the counter for about 15 minutes. So here's what it looks like And look and it scoops out just like ice cream wanna try some Is it delicious? Oh my I'm gonna try some. Oh goodness, I Have to have some with your cupcakes. Oh It's delicious. That's pretty cool actually comes out just like ice cream All right, let's get to giving them some treats. Here's my cupcakes decorated with cream cheese I did actually get some of the stuff to stick on the other frosting as well. So that's what they look like Since you're the birthday girl, I guess you should get yours first, huh? Can you speak? That's a jump. That's it And speak Jump I can't get you in the camera Okay. All right sit Memphis look Good job You're gonna get an ice cream headache if you eat it too fast. Oh Is it good? It's peanut butter ice cream, so it's probably sticky. Yeah, is that amazing? She's like, whoa, you went for the ice cream before the cupcake. Ah, there you go. It's a cupcake Whoa, is that good stuff? I'm gonna say she enjoyed it Ready? There you go There you go. Oh, you're going for the ice cream first, too, huh? You did not eat that like Memphis. Did you just swallowed it? I Think Oakley knows you guys are getting cake cuz I hear her barking. She's like is it my turn? Is it delicious? I Think Shelby likes it All right, you're next I cut yours up a little so you don't eat it too fast, hopefully you sit almost Sit No, you guys sit you can do it. I know you can do I believe in you sit That's a jump up Yeah There you go ice cream and cupcakes Chew before you take the next bite, honey Yeah, I think you ate it faster than everybody else Yay ice cream and cupcakes All right.
