Immerse yourself in the aroma of freshly baked yeast cookies with this soft, airy braided loaf, generously spread with thick raspberry jam. First, the yeast dough becomes soft and elastic under your hands, while the light scent of lemon zest and vanilla sugar awakens your appetite. Once the dough has risen, it is shaped into pretty rolls and filled with the sweet, bright red raspberry filling. In the oven, the braided loaf develops a golden-brown crust, while the inside remains soft and aromatic. When it comes out of the oven, the thick jam flows easily over the curves, inviting you to break off a piece and enjoy the small sweet treat. This recipe is easy to prepare, but the result is truly impressive – perfect pastries for breakfast, afternoon coffee or a cozy coffee gathering with the family.

Recipe:
500-550 g wheat flour (4 cups).
3 tablespoons of sugar (3 tablespoons).
20 g fresh yeast (1 oz).
250 ml warm milk (1 cup).
1 egg + 1 egg yolk.
100 ml vegetable oil (7 tablespoons)
5-6 g salt (1/2 teaspoon).
1 tbsp vanilla sugar
zest of one lemon.
For the filling:
raspberry jam.
Knead the dough and let it rest for 60 minutes.
Braid your hair as shown in the video. Brush with the egg-milk mixture.
Bake at 180 °C (356 °F) for 30–35 minutes.
