Bake an Easter cake from yeast dough! Easy Easter recipes!
This soft and airy yeast dough is perfect for a delicious homemade Easter bread. The dough is prepared with warm milk, butter and eggs, which makes it particularly tender and aromatic. After rising, the dough is shaped, coated with a fine egg glaze and sprinkled with white sesame seeds – creating a beautiful golden crust.
The bread is incredibly soft inside, slightly sweet, and smells wonderfully of fresh pastry. It is perfect for breakfast, afternoon coffee, or as a festive pastry for Easter.
The recipe is very simple, even beginners can succeed, and the result tastes like it came from a good bakery. You absolutely have to try it – your family will love it!
Recipe:
250 ml (1 cup) warm milk.
650-700 g wheat flour (5 3/4 cups).
2 tablespoons of sugar (2 tablespoons).
2 eggs.
100 g butter (3 oz).
5-6 g salt (1/2 teaspoon).
13 g fresh yeast (1/2 oz).
10 g vanilla sugar (1/2 teaspoon).
For the filling:
100 g butter (3 oz).
For decoration:
sesame seeds.
Knead the dough and let it rest for 60 minutes.
Shape the Easter bread as shown in the video.
Bake at 180 °C (356 °F) for 35–40 minutes.
