Recipe 1:
This traditional Easter bread is a delicious and fragrant pastry that should not be missing from your festive table. The soft and airy dough with vanilla notes, filled with dried fruits and nuts and sprinkled with sugar – a true delight for all those with a sweet tooth! The preparation process is simple, and the result will not disappoint any guests. This recipe will not only bring you the enjoyment of a delicious pastry, but also a festive atmosphere! Share it with friends and family to celebrate Easter together in a cozy atmosphere.

250 ml (1 cup) of warm milk.
650-700 g wheat flour (approx. 6 cups).
2 tablespoons of sugar.
2 eggs.
100 g butter (3 oz).
5-6 g salt (1/2 teaspoon).
13 g fresh yeast (1/2 oz).
10 g vanilla sugar (1/2 teaspoon).
For the filling:
100-150 g dried apricots (approx. 4 oz).
100-150 g dried plums (approx. 4 oz).
100-150 g raisins (approx. 4 oz raisins).
100-150 g lemon zest or candied lemon peel (approx. 4 oz).
Knead the dough and let it rest for 50-60 minutes.
Shape the Easter braid as shown in the video.
Bake at 180 °C (356 °F) for 35–40 minutes.
After baking, let it cool, brush it with melted butter and dust it with powdered sugar.
