Anyone can make these 3 ingredient buttermilk biscuits recipe. They are super easy to make, very soft and fluffy and bake up super fast and ready in no time.

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups self-rising flour
1 stick (½ cup) cold unsalted butter
¾ cup buttermilk

Optional: melted butter for brushing tops

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat your oven to 350–400°F and prepare a baking sheet or baking mat.

2. In a large bowl, add 2 cups of self-rising flour.

3. Add 1 stick of very cold unsalted butter. Shave the butter into the flour using a grater, or cut it into small cubes.

4. Use your hands to crumble the butter into the flour until the mixture becomes crumbly.

5. Pour in ¾ cup buttermilk and gently mix until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.

6. Lightly flour a work surface and place the dough on the board.

7. Gently roll the dough out with a rolling pin until about ½ inch thick.

8. Use a biscuit cutter or a cup to cut out biscuits.

9. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet.

10. Bake for 10–12 minutes until the biscuits rise and turn lightly golden.

11. Brush the tops with melted butter while baking or immediately after they come out of the oven.

12. Let the biscuits cool slightly, then serve warm.
