And we're on storm watches.
We're going to be monitoring some rainfall that could be even heavy
at times and potentially bring in some ponding on our streets, but
potentially even a little bit of minor flooding for some areas as well,
especially across our shoreline areas later on for this morning.
So we're looking at the impacts to begin close
to that eight o'clock hour for this morning.
And this will be lasting up until about noon for us as well.
The likelihood of us to see some heavier downpours,
especially for Fairfield County from Weston and Redding,
New Canaan and over towards Norwalk and Bridgeport.
But as we get closer to 10 o'clock,
this makes its way a bit more towards the north, impacting Litchfield,
and there could be even a bit of a period where it's more of a lull.
However, scattered, more isolated showers close to that noon hour,
and then from 1 to 2 o'clock, this will be our last round of rainfall.
The yellow that you see on your screen from running down
to Norwalk Bridgeport, that's where we have our highest likelihood
to see a bit more of those heavier downpours setting up
for Fairfield County and then making its way out
of here around 3 o'clock, drying out closer to 5.
And then as we head to the rest
of our Friday evening into the overnight,
this is where dry weather is going to be taking over Saturday. However,
be prepared for it to be a bit on a breezy and cloudier to start.
But then skies will start to begin clearing by the time we get
to our Saturday evening. And we might have a couple isolated showers
be possible over into the north. But most of us don't have
to worry about the rain gear for Saturday at all.
So again, from about seven through two o'clock into our afternoon.
Fairfield County, everyone as residents as well,
just be prepared to have your rain gear ready to go.
This is going to be the likelihood that you would see from that window,
7 o'clock in our morning until about 1 in the afternoon,
for us to see any kind of rainfall.
Temperatures will stay around the mid-60s.
Make sure you have your rain gear ready to go.
