Heavy rain possible Friday after a mild Thursday night across the Bronx

And this is weird. We're talking about rain. It feels weird. It feels foreign. Yeah, right. I was like, what's that in the sky early this morning? No sunshine, no dry weather. But unfortunately, we do have those showers and storms and those are going to be sticking around throughout tonight and throughout our Friday, even into early parts of our Saturday. Now, in terms of impacts, I'm not as concerned about the severity of these. But there is the opportunity to see some of that flash flooding, especially we have a lot of leaves on the ground during this time of year. Even just a meager rainfall can bring some of those into drains and block them. And we could have some gusty thunderstorms during later parts of tonight into the overnight. I'm not concerned about hail. I'm not concerned about rotation. But we do have that opportunity to have some of those showers throughout our tonight, throughout tomorrow, into early parts of our Saturday. We can see those rain chances mainly sticking around for early parts of Friday. Then we're going to see some tapering. There could be some during the day. Afternoon as well as early parts of the evening, we start to dry out during the overnight, but that doesn't eliminate the chance for some spot showers as we progress throughout the next several days. So in terms of what that's looking like as we work our way into tonight, we could see some additional rounds of some of that rain. We've had some of those spritzy showers over the past few hours, but we could see another round of that this evening and then additional rounds into early parts of tomorrow. So don't let your guard down. We're keeping a close eye on it.
