Heavy rain possible Friday after a mild Thursday night across the area

Time now for a check of the weather. We have our eyes on some wet weather for the first time in quite some time. So we had that first round of showers early this morning. We could see another round this evening and as we head into the overnight. Any of those could be a gusty thunderstorm and could bring some of those pockets of some of that potential for some flash flooding, and that continues as we head throughout our Friday as well. It's not going to be another day and a half straight of rain. It's going to be more dry than not. But while those showers and storms are here, they could bring some of those drenching downpours. So the time frame on this is throughout the day on Friday. We have another couple rounds of this possible. Then it'll taper off the more we head into Friday night and early parts of Saturday. But there's going to be this lingering We'll be right back.
