AI GeneratedThe weather forecast indicates a cooling trend for the region, with a significant temperature drop expected by Friday. While some rain is anticipated for Thursday, the weather is expected to improve over the weekend, returning to sunny skies and warmer temperatures by Monday.
You still got school, kids.
You can just do it in your pajamas.
Well, and you're going to need a thick pajama,
or you're going to have to have, if you're at the bus stop,
definitely a coat, some layers, Holly.
For sure, especially by Friday, Mary,
because that is when temperatures are going
to be the coldest that we've seen so far.
We'll see low temperatures in the upper 20s and lower 30s,
so it is going to be pretty chilly for the start of the day,
and we won't warm up that much for Friday as well.
So throughout the day, you only get
to the upper 40s, and then we go back.
We're starting to kind of enter into this part of the season where
the cooler temperatures will be more of the trend.
Now, don't be alarmed when we do have 30s waking up
because that is what our normal temperature is supposed to be.
Same with 50s.
Our normal temperature is supposed to be in the 50s.
But you see here, we've been above average,
and we do have more of those days to come.
For now, though, we are a little bit cooler,
down to 53 here in Milwaukee.
Dew points are at 47.
Wind is from the southwest at about 12 miles per hour.
But across the entire viewing area,
We're maybe experiencing winds in between 10 to
to 15 miles per hour with 20 mile per hour wind gusts.
So it is pretty breezy out there tonight
and it will be as we head into tomorrow's forecast as well.
So definitely keep that in mind outdoors
with these cooler temperatures.
Not necessarily windy enough to have wind chills however it's
still going to make an impact on how you may feel outside.
Looking at our temperatures right now we
only see one area in the 40s and that is Juneau.
Everybody else in the 50s so ranging from 50 to
to about 53 degrees.
Very, very close range with our temperatures.
No big gaps looking at our temperatures
and how they'll trend throughout the night.
Now, this is specifically for Milwaukee.
We're going to be in the 50s over the next couple of hours,
a little bit more as you lean into after midnight.
That's when we'll start to see those 40s.
Those 40s will be coming closer
to when you're waking up and on your way for tomorrow.
So just keep that in mind.
Starting the day, you're definitely going to want to start off
with a heavier coat than probably how you would end the day.
Looking at our satellite and radar here.
Nice and...
Nice and messy, or I should say nice and dry for southeast Wisconsin
or the central portion of our state,
but it is also looking pretty messy.
So we've got a lot of minutia going on, right?
You see here the low pressure system,
and then there is the center of the low.
It's also creating this counterclockwise motion.
So what that means and what that's going to do to affect our area here
in southeast Wisconsin is this is going to continue to wrap around.
And then you see we have wind coming from the southwest.
That rain's going to wrap around in that circuit.
They're in motion and then bring us the rain
and it'll come from the southwest for tomorrow.
Matter of fact, let's look at it here on our Sky Vision Plus.
So we go throughout tonight. You'll see maybe some lingering showers.
We'll get a little bit more of that lighter rain
that could be consistent at times for Thursday's forecast,
but it won't be an all day thing.
So thankfully we won't have a full blown washout,
but we will have an opportunity for that rain to come
and it definitely will be noticeable.
And as we head throughout the early start of Friday,
that will be finishing up, leaving behind some of those.
Pretty much gustier winds for Friday's forecast in general,
but we do look to improve by Saturday.
We'll be back in the 50s.
We'll have partly sunny sky conditions.
Sunday looks even sunnier there with temperatures still in the 50s,
and then we start to see 60s by Monday.
So we've got some nice weather on the way, especially for the weekend.
We've just got to make it through this hump.
One more day of rain.
