Bryan Steil concedes U.S. House District 1
Nov 4, 2026
It was a difficult night.
We gave it our all, but we came up short. Moments ago, I called
Mitchell Berman. I congratulated him on his victory.
For the last eight years, it's been
my absolute honor to be your voice in Congress.
I'm proud of what we accomplished during those
eight years. I think we've made a lot of progress for this state
and for this country.
I'm also really thankful for a lot of you,
for my family, for my wife Kaylee, for the
members of our team who've worked tirelessly,
for the people here in the state of Wisconsin,
and to our countless volunteers.
Thank you
all for
your work.
As I said, it was a difficult night tonight.
It was not our night.
But this is the greatest country in the world.
I love it.
This is the greatest country in the world.
I love the state of Wisconsin.
And our work to make this,
to continue it to be the greatest country in the world
and the greatest state in the union will always continue.
I thank you all for your work.
Wish you all the best.
Good night.
