We're going to take it. We're going to enjoy it.
We have the sunny skies here for today.
Delightful weather. We started off
with a little patchy fog earlier this morning.
Now we're looking at some really nice
weather conditions. Sunshine today.
A couple of showers on Thursday and then Friday morning there's going
to be some rain, maybe some thunderstorms.
And I'm going to show you a couple of different weather models
to show you the difference in rainfall totals.
And then right now the weekend,
sun and clouds and most of it will be dry.
Coming home from school later today.
Temperature around 70 degrees, you have sunshine,
it's dry, it's a gorgeous afternoon.
Some kids will be able to wear shorts.
Dry weather, satellite radar view, we are quiet.
18 days in a row of dry weather conditions.
Now on Thursday, there will be a few pop-up showers in the afternoon.
Thursday's more dry than wet.
But watch what happens overnight Thursday into Friday morning.
There's going to be some rain.
There's going to be some pockets of a heavier rain
into the morning rush hour here.
Some torrential downpours.
And maybe even a thunderstorm.
This is one of our computer models.
This is our short-term model.
Right now, suggesting an inch to just over an inch.
The American model says, yeah,
I'm going to stall the front a little longer,
maybe two to three inches, up to four inches.
We're watching that very closely.
And then the European model keeps the heaviest rain offshore.
So there's going to be a 30-mile wiggle room here
of the potential of some really heavy downpours
that we're going to watch very closely.
A couple of showers late on Thursday, and then that Friday morning,
we're watching the threat of some heavy rain.
60s to low 70s today.
It's sunny.
It's warm.
You're doing well tonight.
Lows are in the 50s, partly cloudy skies.
And then a couple of showers Thursday afternoon, but Friday morning
especially, we'll watch the potential of some heavier rain.
Chance of showers Saturday and then drying out on Sunday.
Out the door today, Storm Wrangler 12,
watching the quiet weather conditions.
We continue to have your election day results all morning long
and the one state that almost turned for the first time
in more than 30 years. Plus the colder months.
