Let's get you outside if you are headed out the door this morning.
Looking like it's going to be another beautiful day.
I can't believe it's this time of the year.
We keep saying how nice it's going to be.
The easy Caesar.
Jacqueline, exactly right.
That's one of the situations that we have here, right?
Just plenty of nice weather still to be had.
And even this morning, a lot
of us still sitting quite comfortably in the 50s, right?
So, DCA 56 degrees, 50 over at Dulles International.
And you can even see here at BWI, right, 49.
A little bit cooler a little further up north.
But in general, not necessarily too bad,
especially with all these clear skies.
It's thanks to a lot of that southerly flow
that we continue having move on in towards our area.
But for the most part.
It won't last for too much longer, right?
Of course, at least in terms of sunshine.
We'll still see warmer weather
as the rain showers do start to move on in
with this cold front pushing closer towards our area.
But the one thing that we do see is cooler air right after that.
So, of course, we return back to reality.
It is going to be, it is fall, right?
So we expect some cooler air out there.
But for the most part, if you love this warmer weather, well, enjoy it.
Look at this.
We're expecting to see a dry little...
Setup here still continuing for us.
Warmer air still pushing on in as well.
And that will lead temperatures to be sitting comfortably
in the 70s here for a lot of us.
Clouds do start to move on in towards the second half of the day.
And expect to see temperatures really reaching about 76 degrees today.
So that's what we're expecting for the most part.
As we head in towards the night.
Cloud cover is going to sit over top of us,
going to allow us to stay in a little bit warmer, right?
Sitting mostly around the mid-60s,
maybe some low 60s as well for our overnight lows.
But overall, not too bad, especially to start off for Thursday.
But Thursday, while it will stay a bit on the warmer side,
we do expect to see some rain showers pushing on in.
Most of it going to be early in the day.
You could see that this cold front will start
to push in a little closer then.
By about 9:30, we clear on out.
Get a little bit of a break.
Then it becomes a little bit more scattered
in nature as we head towards the afternoon.
And this continues to be the main trend
as we head in towards parts of Friday as well.
So certainly something to keep in mind throughout most of the day.
You'll see, of course, some scattered showers throughout parts
of Friday afternoon also.
So not necessarily a washout, but certainly something to keep in mind
because you're going to want to hold on to that umbrella.
But you'll continue to see that we
then cool down after that cold front slides through,
bringing us a little bit of sunshine here throughout the weekend.
Temperatures mostly hanging around in the mid to low 60s.
