Maryland faces Illinois in first game since Coach Locksley's departure

Saturday means college football, but it looks a lot different these days out in College Park as the University of Maryland fired their head coach has been there since 2019, Mike Locksley. This is going to be their first game without him at the helm. An interim coach is going to be taking over. Chad Ricardo joins us live from Maryland with the latest on how things are looking out there and what they have in store for the game under new leadership. Chad. Well, Julie Donaldson, I got to tell you what, we don't need Caesar to come into the spot to tell us that the weather looks absolutely spectacular. Sunny and 70 degrees and here at SECU Stadium, the Maryland Terrapins look just as good thus far. Just about three quarters into the Azhar Abdulrahim regime. It's interim head coach hoping to audition to take over this job on the full-time level right now. The Maryland Terps up by a score of 14-7. They just scored to go up on top. For the next 30 minutes, we're going to be walking around SECU Stadium, Speaking with the fans, speaking with the students to find out what the atmosphere is.
