Let's get a check of the forecast now, because a lot
of people are going to be trick-or-treating outside today.
I hope so. I mean, it's a Saturday. It's a nice day.
But here's the thing.
It's going to be a lot colder than you might expect
when the sun sets tonight, which is fine.
I mean, you know, it's October 31st,
but it is nothing like the 70s we saw yesterday.
We're going with 58 for a high today.
The wind is pretty light, so the trick-or-treating isn't going
to be an issue when it comes to wind,
and neither are the Halloween decorations.
You're not going to have to worry about that flying around.
Tonight, we have some frost scattered in the city.
We have freezes north of the city into Connecticut.
It's going to be a pretty...
Freezing cold start to Sunday but the afternoon
is actually a little bit warmer tomorrow than it is today.
Let me show you the next couple of hours. It feels like 42 degrees
at 11 p.m. So those late night Halloween parties make sure you've got
the extra layers underneath those costumes.
If you have plans to enjoy it outside in the middle of the night,
those temperatures will drop into the mid thirties.
By the time you wake up on Sunday morning, we're talking low thirties.
But remember, you're going to be up probably an hour earlier
because of the extra hour of sleep. We get
The clocks are going back. This is the earliest that they can go back
because the first Sunday in November this year is November 1st.
We're going to be in the 60s in the afternoon. We're looking dry.
Continue to see that dry weather Monday and Tuesday.
Notice these temperatures are pretty comfortable.
It's November and we are well into the 60s again for the work week.
We might even hit 70 degrees in spots on Wednesday
and maybe Thursday if we could keep that rain away.
But yes, we do have showers in the forecast Thursday.
We have showers in the forecast Friday as well.
So that will end a two and a half long streak.
Of dry weather, pretty decent 10 day forecast for November,
where 60, which is warmer than average on Sunday,
mid to upper 60s for Monday, Election Day, Tuesday, close to 70.
We might hit 70 Wednesday and Thursday.
You see the shower chances come in for the end of the 10 day.
Really no major cold in sight, but we do cool back down next weekend.
Still can't guarantee that next weekend will be totally dry.
That's pretty far away, but we will keep an eye on it for you.
Got a good run though.
