Zelenskyy hopes for meeting with Russian and US negotiating teams between November 6-10

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Wednesday he hopes to hold a trilateral meeting with Russian and U.S. negotiating teams between November 6 and 10, with the location potentially changing because of the situation in the Middle East. According to Associated Press Zelensky said Kyiv was waiting for the U.S. side to confirm its readiness for the meeting after the U.S. midterm elections. Jet 10 called for tougher sanctions against Russia, saying the measures were hurting its economy and were needed to push Russian President Vladimir Putin to take negotiation seriously. We are waiting from American side. I think that they will be ready with all the answers after their elections. It's understandable that after the 4th of November, we will have the date. What is the main reason for your surprise visit today? Is it important to strengthen ties with loyal allies like the Netherlands? It is clear that we need to push Putin to take the negotiations seriously. So he has to understand that he is losing this war. He's losing the war on the battlefield with a lot of Russian casualties, but he's also losing the war because his economy is going down the drain. And one of the reasons is international sanctions. So the only way forward for Europeans, but also for Americans and others, is to put more sanctions on the Russian regime instead of less. So buying Russian energy is a very stupid idea.
