A senior Iranian security official told Press TV that the country is preparing for a large-scale, multi-layered military conflict in the face of further escalation. At the same time, the head of the Iranian parliament's National Security Committee, Ibrahim Azizi, stated that the election results will not affect Tehran's position, since Iran has no doubt about the other side's hostility. "We are ready to wipe you off the map in response to any miscalculation in your actions," Azizi said.

As previously reported, Mohsen Rezaei, head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated that Tehran will not agree to the removal of enriched uranium from the country. He emphasized that nuclear materials are a national treasure and must remain in Iran's possession.

Rezaei also stated that Iran does not intend to return to negotiations with the US until Washington takes steps to restore trust. According to him, dialogue is possible only after Tehran's conditions are met.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced that he has instructed the country's military, the Mossad intelligence service, and security agencies to work toward overthrowing the current regime in Iran. Speaking at a graduation ceremony for Israel Defense Forces officers, Netanyahu claimed that Iran is once again attempting to develop nuclear weapons, posing an existential threat to Israel. "There is only one way to eliminate this threat once and for all: by toppling the Iranian regime. I have tasked the Israel Defense Forces, the Mossad, and the security agencies with precisely this objective."

Netanyahu stated that US President Donald Trump shares his view. He claimed that Trump—referencing an initiative Washington had previously launched—expressed his readiness to see the task through to completion, but emphasized that this would be done in coordination with Israel. The Israeli Prime Minister further remarked that Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has failed to learn from past events and continues to pursue his father’s policies. Against this backdrop, the Reuters news agency has reported that the US State Department intends to order the departure of some staff members—along with their family members—from American diplomatic missions in Persian Gulf countries.
