What You Need: 3 cups sugar 3 TBL cornstarch 4 TBL butter 1/2 cup corn syrup 1/2 cup water 2 0.25 oz drink mixes, I used lemonade Koolaid mix 1 TBL coarse salt (optional) Gel Food Coloring
First, line an 8x8 pan with parchment and spray it down with lots of no-stick spray. Do the same with three measuring cups. Set them aside.
In a large pot, place your sugar, your cornstarch, your butter, your corn syrup and your water.
Now you’ll want to bring this to a boil on medium heat. Then add two packets of yellow drink mix, I’m using lemonade mix, but use anything light colored.
Now, you’ll need a candy thermometer because you’re going to need to have to cook this whole thing to precisely 255 degrees. Otherwise your candy won’t set up right. Also, be super careful when cooking this. Molten sugar is hot lava.
Once your temperature is reached, pour in half a cup worth of syrup into one of your prepared cups. Then divide the rest of the syrup equally between the other two cups.
Using gel food coloring and some toothpicks make your colors nice and vibrant. Yellow, pink and teal.
Now in your prepared dish pour in your pink, then your yellow and using a toothpick slowly swirl the candy about. Not too much. After a few minutes, drizzle on the teal. Don’t mess with it too much: the teal will bleed too much if you do. Let it set up for about 4 hours or until solid.
Now to replicate the crystalized parts of Muk I like using coarse salt. You can use coarse sugar or leave it out. Slice it up into squares with a greased pizza cutter or knife.
My new favorite Pokemon from Sun and Moon is Alola Form Muk.
Mostly because he looks like candy.
Let's make some edible Muk, yeah?
First, line an 8x8 pan with parchment and spray it down with

Otherwise, your candy's just not going to set up
right. Also, be incredibly careful when cooking this.
Molten sugar is like hot lava. It'll burn
you worse than a Charizard after it's had a few chili dogs.

Oh man, looks like I've attracted some very hungry Pikachus.
Look at that guy go to town!
Nobody tell him that muck is a poison type!
But I assure you, this muck is completely safe
for Pokemon Trainer consumption.
