The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to target the Crimean Bridge, which has been hit three times since the full-scale invasion began. Russian authorities could send thousands of trucks loaded with weapons across the bridge, but they are not doing so out of fear of the Ukrainian army's reaction. Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmitry Pletenchuk stated this in a comment to Channel 24 . " There have been repeated reports that trucks are prohibited from accessing the bridge. It's not fulfilling its primary function ," the second-rank captain emphasized. The officer suggested that the occupiers were simply afraid of new Ukrainian missile and drone strikes across the crossing. Pletenchuk made it clear that the Crimean Bridge is not so easy to completely destroy, citing the example of the Antonov Bridge, which the Russian army was only able to partially destroy using explosives. The spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy urged everyone to remember that the Crimean Bridge is protected by air defense forces comparable to those defending Moscow. " The symbolic value and 'bondage' of the Crimean Bridge for Russia are off the charts, but we're not chasing that ," the media source noted. Pletenchuk pointed out that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently concentrating not on strikes against the Crimean Bridge, but on attacks along the land corridor, complicating the enemy's logistics in Crimea and on the left bank of the Kherson region.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck, destroying the Chongar Bridge , which connects the Kherson region with Crimea, cutting off a critical route for the Russian army. The Chongar crossing is one of the key Russian logistics routes in southern Ukraine. It connects Crimea with the occupied Kherson Oblast and is used to supply Russian troops. The collapse of the span prevents through traffic on the damaged bridge. To restore this supply route, the Russian side will need to repair it or use other crossings and bypass routes. Ukrainian forces have repeatedly attacked the Chongar crossing. The new damage affected both the bridge itself and the adjacent crossing, complicating the use of this transport hub. The Chongar Bridge is critical for the Russian army, as it is the main logistical artery of the land corridor linking temporarily occupied Crimea with the mainland of southern Ukraine. This route provides the shortest route for the rapid movement of military equipment, ammunition, fuel and lubricants, and personnel from the major logistics hub in Dzhankoy to Russian troop positions in the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk directions. Damage to or destruction of this crossing forces the Russian command to use much longer alternative routes, which significantly slows down supplies, doubles transportation costs and threatens the stability of the entire southern group of Russian troops.
