Today is a huge travel day because I am flying out to Las Vegas for Superzoo 2026. Leaving the house is always the hardest part, especially when Kira and Eleanor are giving me the most demanding morning snuggles and sad eyes. Jamie is holding down the fort at home with the Siberian Huskies, keeping them entertained with backyard playtime and making sure they get their lunch on time while I head out on this wild adventure.

Getting to Vegas turned into a bit of a whirlwind journey! After flying through Detroit, I landed in Nevada to find out Dan was completely stuck in traffic. That meant I had to take my very first solo taxi ride over to the Luxor Hotel. Once we finally linked up, we gave you a quick hotel room tour, walked down the Las Vegas Strip to check out the M&M store and the massive guitar hotel, and ran some emergency errands after our friend Emily had her luggage delayed.

Between Detroit style pizza at Red Dwarf and Jamie capturing the cutest husky moments back home, Day 1 was pure chaos from start to finish. We have so much exciting pet industry stuff coming up this week at the trade show, so make sure you follow along with the whole journey. Remember, life is short, make memories with your dogs!
