Ice in the Bay, Lake Huron Alpena Michigan

This is Partridge Point. Lake Huron, Thunder Bay. That's Squaw Bay back there actually. See, everything's frozen. Ice as far as you can see. Pina's way over there. I think that's the Lafarge plant. Dust pile you can see. Lots and lots and lots of ice in the bay. See where it's kind of pushed up right there. Now you can actually see Lafarge. There's Lafarge. It's over there. I walked out a little bit. I'm still on rocks though, not on the ice. I'm not that crazy. See where it's all shifted. Ice as far as you can see. I just thought it would be cool. Thought you guys might like to see it. This is what the road looks like to get out here. Snow's not very deep, thank goodness. We're on our way out actually. We'll drive this way first. See what we can see over here. There's Squaw Bay. There's some swans out there. I'm going to have to get out and take some pictures of the swans now. You guys don't hear too much of that wind. There's the swans. Just hanging out on the ice at Squaw Bay. Quite a ways out there. It's windy when I look this way. Windy and cold. There's my Jeep. Shiloh and Shelby are waiting for me to get back in, so we can go back home. Jamie never believed me. I did walk out on the ice. Of course, I know how deep it is. I'm not very far from shore.
