Let's go Dog Sledding! Shelby’s LAST Run Before Surgery
We got our first snow of 2019, which means, it's time to break out the Dog Sled and hit the trails!
Well good wonderful beautiful morning Pawdience! Today we are taking advantage of the beautiful snow and heading out for a day of dog sledding with our Siberian Huskies. With Shelby’s surgery coming up on January 7th, we wanted to get her out on the trails one last time before her long recovery period. The vet mentioned she might be out of commission for four to six weeks, so we are making every moment count!
In this vlog, we head out to a perfectly packed trail to see how Memphis and Shelby handle the sled as a duo. You’ll see some beautiful GoPro footage and drone shots of the girls "hike hike hiking" through the winter wonderland. We also discuss a common Siberian Husky behavior: why they sometimes "freeze up" like a cat when you first put their harnesses on! It’s a day full of fast runs, cold noses, and happy tails.
