My Husky is SHEDDING! Time To Blow Out those Coats! Flying Fur!
Oh my goodness, what is happening here?! You are all losing your floofs! It is officially that time of year where the huskies are shedding like crazy and the fur is taking over our house, and today we are doing something we haven't done in a while. We are headed outside to de-shed the dogs by blowing out their coats! I bet I could get a whole handful of floof just by standing here. From Eleanor’s chaotic energy to Memphis’s senior spa treatment, the fur is absolutely flying today.
Get a husky, they said. It’ll be fun, they said! But they don't always tell you about the "furnados" and the clouds of chaos that come with these double coats. In this video, I’m showing you my full process for managing the blowing coats, including the equipment I use to keep them looking gorgeous without needing a full bath. You’ll see the "before" shots, the mid-grooming madness, and of course, the after-groomie zoomies!
We also show you what we do with all that leftover fur! The local birds and squirrels are going to have the fanciest nests in the neighborhood! Stick around until the end because I’m also showing a quick tip on how I rinse out their eyes after a grooming session to get rid of any trapped dander.
