The day's main focus is another trip to the vet for our sweet husky, Kira. After weeks of her paw not healing, the preliminary results from her culture are in from Michigan State University (MSU). The diagnosis is a serious, antibiotic-resistant Pseudomonas bacterial infection. In this video, we share the full, detailed diagnosis from the vet and our new, intensive treatment plan, which will likely involve 14 days of injections once the final results are in.
In between the stressful vet news, we try to find moments of fun and normalcy with the girls. Watch Eleanor have an absolute blast with a new wiggly ball, and see the hilarious outcome of the great apple saga, where the dogs beg for a fresh apple from our tree only to discover it's a bit too sour! We also have some good news to share: Memphis's bacterial skin infection is finally looking so much better with her topical treatments!
