Cabin Fever Has Hit The Huskies!
What a crazy week of weather we are having here in Michigan! One minute it is snowing, and the next it is 52 degrees and raining with massive wind gusts. We are dealing with a wet, sloppy mess in the backyard as everything melts and then freezes right back into a sheet of ice. We even had to pump water off the pool cover and sand the backyard just so the girls could go outside safely without slipping!
You might notice Memphis's eye looks a little swollen in today’s video. We wanted to give you a quick update on that! She managed to scratch it because it was itchy, but don't worry, we have been putting medicine on it and it is already looking so much better than it did yesterday. Plus, we got a super cool surprise in the mail from our insurance company involving Memphis and the local newspaper!
Since the weather is so gross and treacherous outside, the Siberian Huskies have a serious case of cabin fever inside! Eleanor is full of energy and ready to play rough with Dad, and even Kira got in on the action with the toys. It turned into a hilarious indoor play session with Jamie trying not to get tackled by two excited dogs at once, while Memphis acted as the referee from the couch.
