Quiet Luxury in Concrete | Inside Casa GP, a Minimalist Urban Sanctuary

Designed as a private sanctuary for a single resident, Casa GP explores the idea of quiet luxury through material precision and spatial openness. Shielded from the street by a solid concrete wall, the house reveals itself gradually—transitioning from enclosure to transparency.

The main living volume is conceived as a fluid, diaphanous space where daily activities unfold without strict separations. Kitchen, living, dining, and sleeping areas merge into a single environment, reinforcing a lifestyle defined by freedom, simplicity, and continuity. Floor-to-ceiling glass opens directly onto a terrace, a reflective water feature, and a landscaped garden, blurring the boundary between interior and exterior.

A monolithic service core wrapped in vertical wooden friezes introduces warmth and tactility, while exposed concrete slabs and steel elements maintain structural clarity. The bedroom’s bathroom becomes a distinct spatial moment, entirely clad in white marble and accented with black fittings and natural wood.

Accessed directly from the street, the basement houses the garage and service areas, ensuring the upper level remains dedicated to living. Casa GP demonstrates how a restrained palette of concrete, steel, wood, and glass can create a sophisticated, intimate dwelling rooted in calm and precision.
