Villa K340 by François Verhoeven Architect is a contemporary split-level villa in The Hague, Netherlands, designed to follow the contours of its sloping site. The house combines lime plaster, raw timber, and carefully concealed glazing to create a restrained yet warm architectural character. Inside, a central staircase connects the different levels, while large openings establish strong visual and physical connections with the surrounding garden. Passive shading, triple glazing, geothermal heating, solar panels, and controlled ventilation further integrate environmental performance into the design.
