Laguna Escondida House by arquitectura.te is a 740-square-meter residence in José Ignacio, Uruguay, carefully integrated into a forested site by preserving the existing trees and organizing the home around a central courtyard. Its two main volumes create distinct living and private zones, connected through open spaces, large glass openings, and carefully framed views of the surrounding landscape. Natural wood, travertine, dark exterior finishes, and indirect lighting create a warm, restrained interior atmosphere, while the courtyard, pool, and verandas strengthen the connection between indoor living and nature.
