Bellbird House by Bower Architecture is a 322-square-meter family home in Blackburn, Australia, designed to live closely with its natural surroundings. By preserving 41 established native trees, the house is carefully integrated into the existing bushland, while north-facing highlight windows and elevated roof forms frame views of the treetops and bring natural light inside. A warm palette of timber, limestone, and dark Accoya cladding connects the interiors to the landscape, while the open-plan living areas, private retreats, passive design strategies, and native garden create a comfortable and environmentally responsive home.
