
Crispy chicken thighs in a creamy mushroom sauce – better than in a restaurant!
Today we have a dream recipe: crispy fried chicken thighs with golden-brown skin, served in a creamy mushroom sauce with delicate tagliatelle pasta. 🍗🍄
The meat is crispy on the outside and wonderfully juicy on the inside, and combined with the creamy sauce it's simply a delight!
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
Chicken:
• 4 chicken thighs with skin (approx. 200 g (7 oz) each)
• Salt, black pepper
• 2 tbsp vegetable oil
• 1 tbsp butter
Sauce:
• 1 onion, finely diced
• 2 garlic cloves, chopped
• 300 g mushrooms (4 cups), sliced
• 150 ml white wine (⅔ cup)
• 300 ml chicken stock (1 1/4 cups)
• 200 ml cream (¾ cup)
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• 2 sprigs of thyme
• Salt, pepper
• fresh parsley, chopped
Supplement:
• 400 g tagliatelle pasta (14 oz)
