Recipe:
4 eggs.
180 g sugar (3/4 cup).
80 ml sunflower oil (1/3 cup).
1 pinch of salt.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
90 g yogurt (2 tablespoons).
3 apples.
20 cm cake tin lined with baking paper.
With this cake batter we have enough to cover three layers of apples in a 20 cm cake pan.
Now for the cream.
1 egg.
50 g sugar (2 tablespoons).
1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
30 g cornstarch.
240 ml milk (1 cup).
Bake for 50 minutes at 170°C.
If the surface browns too much after 35 minutes, it can be covered with aluminum foil.
1 teaspoon powdered sugar for garnishing.
