go Eva go where are we going we're going in the woods baby kids with rat syndrome typically develop normally at first just like Eva did we got a butterfly Eva but then they experienced a regression where they lose skills that they previously had mastered so in Eva's case she unfortunately lost the ability to walk talk and purposefully use her hand we're on the bridge so early on we found out about hippotherapy which is therapeutic horseback riding we just went through the cor wash we came to Sebastian riding Associates which I was born and raised in this area I didn't even know this place existed you having fun who I know you're working hard it's been such a wonderful Haven for Eva not just therapeutically but just holistically to just come out and do something fun so it's great for Eva when she's working on her OT skills I have watched this child for five years and therapy day after day month after month year after year yay Eva just continue to work through the challenges and be able to gain skills oh Eva you were Galloping in this one you were trotting in this one Eva fan and to see the pride and see the Independence that she's gained it's just so heartwarming hi Eva hi Miss Chris good morning good morning Sebastian writing Associates is an equin assisted service program for individuals living with vared disabilities in 2025 we'll be celebrating our 50th Anniversary what a good boy you are I got involved D in 1986 when my daughter became a student here she was born with Down Syndrome it gave her a whole new community and it became a whole family event nothing to be afraid of my daughter passed away from leukemia and I credit our family horse for saving our life Eva you are ready to go ready to see Mr gayen it's so individual for each person in each you know family and walk we're good all right we're hitting it the whole team here are committed to continuing to provide this opportunity for individuals with disabilities for many years to come I know you're working so hard Eva the people here are absolutely incredible I like it what do you think Eva Lauren and I really are glued to Eva 24/7 that's a lot of hard work but being on a horse and seeing her you know enjoy something independently uh is something that is a treat for us you made it you did such an awesome job it has done so much for for our family and for Eva and it really has changed our lives you are a warrior you and your trusty Steed Galen you ready to warm up yeah
