We came across this beautiful spot on the Ruhr on our way to Mühlheim an der Ruhr in Germany. We couldn't help but stop and capture this beautiful picturesque river landscape. There was some mist behind the trees and the sky was partly clear and partly cloudy, which made for a very interesting light. The sun was shining behind some soft light clouds, creating a very soft and romantic light. As a result, the shadows in the trees and the reflections in the water were rather soft and not as sharp as in the strong sunlight around midday. Beautiful, isn't it?
