Dear viewer, I'm very sorry, but I really can't remember which stream we filmed here. Based on the turquoise-milky water, I would say that it must be meltwater from a glacier, but it was filmed further down in the valley. Melt water carries a lot of fine suspended particles that have been created by the abrasion of the glacier. These particles give the glacier water, also known as glacier milk, its typical cloudy "milky (milk-like)" colour. and is therefore also called a milk water stream. Glacial lakes and valley lakes fed by glacial water are often turquoise and hazy in colour. Such lakes also change colour depending on the amount of fine rock particles and how far they have sunk into the lake. Anything from turquoise to emerald green and deep dark blue to milky light blue is possible in lakes fed by glacier water. But maybe I'm wrong and it's just melted snow water that's causing the colour.
