Spekulatius Soft Ice from the Thermomix – an irresistible delight!
Hi, it's Daisy again from the MeinZauberTopfKüche.
And if you're looking for a delicious and refreshing treat
that's perfect for the wintertime,
then our Spekulatius Soft Ice is just the thing for you.
And the best part is that we use high-quality ingredients
from our partner Koro,
which offers a wide range of sustainable foods.
So it's perfect for your storage.
And a lot of it is also vegetarian and vegan.
And the nice thing is that our Soft Ice consists of only 4 ingredients
and a chocolate topping.
And the base offers this wonderful, creamy, vegan
and really spicy, aromatic Spekulatius topping.
I tell you, you have to try it.
And thanks to the large packaging that Koro offers,
you don't have to worry about repurchasing.
Because that definitely prevents packaging waste
and also saves you money.
Because it's really cheaper than always buying so many small packages.
A little tip from me personally,
it's sometimes worth doing it with friends and family.
Then you can share it quite well with each other.
So, I already said, our ice is incredibly simple.
The Thermomix does it all by itself.
The ice mass is mixed together in the nut.
Then the whole thing has to go back into the freezer for 2 hours.
And then it's stirred up again so wonderfully creamy.
And of course, we also want to make our chocolate-typical Soft Ice topping.
For this, I use Koro's Choco Drops with Zelit again,
so without sugar.
And then I'll tell you about a second topping.
And I'll also tell you how you can make a really good ice dessert
out of this Soft Ice for Christmas.
So stay tuned.
And at the end of the episode, there's also a little surprise.
So let's start with the drops.
We need about 60 grams.
You can already see that these are always large packages.
For us, this is always a lot in use.
We also need a lot for all the production here.
The good thing is just a little more here.
That doesn't matter.
Even if kids eat the ice, there's not that much sugar in there.
So, we're going to chop that up now,
for 7 seconds on level 6.
And then we're going to fill the whole thing up first.
Perfect.
I deliberately don't fill it into a bowl with rims,
but rather on such a small plate,
because then we can roll the Soft Ice in there a little better afterwards.
This is what it looks like now.
I'll put that in front.
And then I have some coconut flakes with spices.
It's also super delicious.
I only need about 50 to 60 grams of that.
You could also use the vegan coconut flakes.
I'll also do 60, so that we have a balance.
And the whole thing has to be chopped up for about 6 seconds on level 7.
6 seconds should be enough.
And on 7.
The complete recipe for reading,
I don't even know if I've already said,
you can find it again with us at Zaubertopf Club.
And if you haven't subscribed to the channel yet,
it's best to do it right now.
I'm going to fill the whole thing up now.
It smells really nice and wintry like Spekulatius.
And write in the comments if you already know Koro.
I think anyone who is on Instagram and so on,
will definitely have run across that.
And I've been using it privately for a while now.
I'm a total fan of nut mousse.
I have a favorite.
But I'll tell you about that in a minute.
First, put 20 grams of sugar in a mixing bowl.
That's enough.
Because in the Spekulatius spread, it's already sweetened.
I need 10 seconds on level 10.
Now I need 250 grams of this creamy spread.
And it makes such a great consistency with the soft ice cream,
I can tell you.
And my personal favorite,
if you should order from Koro,
is the pistachio mousse.
You definitely have to try that.
That on such a lukewarm croissant in the morning
always reminds me of our vacation in Italy.
I always ate such a croissant with pistachio mousse.
That was so delicious.
I'll take 250 grams here.
Great.
It also stays a little for me to lick later.
I think that's very good.
Then I need cream.
And Greek yogurt.
It's important that it's a high fat content of 10%.
That makes our ice cream really creamy afterwards.
And that way it doesn't feel so heavy in the stomach afterwards,
but really refreshing.
Also for wintertime.
The whole thing is now stirred for 30 seconds on level 4
to such a really nice creamy mass.
And then the whole thing has to be refilled
and into the froster, for two steps.
Our mass is ready.
And now one thing is important when you refill it.
I know that in most recipes it always says
just fill in ice cube containers.
I personally find it much, much easier
if you use silicone molds like this.
There are probably also ice cube containers.
To be honest, I always use such molds for baking
because I have them anyway.
Then I don't have to buy anything new.
And with that, they just dissolve so much better afterwards.
It's really a game changer, I can tell you.
You should definitely try it out.
And look how nice and creamy it looks now.
I'm going to fill that into the molds now.
You don't have to fill them all the way,
because the silicone mold here is relatively large.
And it smells so good.
I'm telling you, this is the tastiest soft ice cream
you've ever eaten in winter.
I'm going to put the mass in the froster for two hours now
and then we'll continue right away.
In the meantime, of course, I can clean up everything here
and rinse the mixing bowl.
And then we mix our wonderfully creamy
Spekulatia Soft Ice.
So, our mass has now been in the freezer for two hours.
I just pushed it out here
so that I don't have to do it in front of a camera
and have such greasy hands.
And the whole thing is now stirred creamy.
That's why I put the whole thing in a mixing bowl again.
If you want to freeze the whole thing overnight,
that's not a problem at all, of course.
Then you just have to stir a little longer.
In our case, I'm stirring at level 5 for 15 seconds first.
Of course, you could leave the whole thing like this
and just serve it as ice cream.
And it tastes really good with hot cherries
and a few pieces of Spekulatius.
I'm going to stir it up a little more creamy.
And here's another little hint.
Each freezer is also set a little differently.
That means, for some, it may be harder after two hours
than for others.
Take a look at the 15 seconds first.
Normally, you stir for another 15 seconds at level 4.
If it's particularly hard or you've chilled it overnight,
it may be that your stirring time is a little longer.
In our case, we'll continue at level 4 for another 15 seconds.
Perfect, now it's really nice and creamy.
Of course, I'll show you the whole thing now.
Mmm, that looks good.
Look here.
Nice and creamy.
I'm going to put that in my piping bag now.
I hope I can do this well.
And then I've already got myself
these little ice cream molds here as a waffle cup.
And I'm going to pour our soft ice cream in there now.
And then, of course, I'm going to roll it in our chocolate topping.
And I'm going to roll the second one in the Spekulatius topping.
Write in the comments
if you've ever made a soft ice cream without fruit.
Maybe you already know our McFlurry ice cream.
That was also such a soft ice cream.
That was really good, too.
So, here are two waffle cups.
That looks damn delicious.
And then we'll put a nice topping on top.
One with chocolate
and one with the delicious crumbs.
I'll try both, of course.
Mmm, it tastes so good.
Such a real winter delight.
Mega fresh and still so spicy
because of the Spekulatius.
Absolute recommendation.
I'll take the second bite here with the crumbs.
Also very tasty and at the same time completely different.
You don't even know what my favorite is.
I'm curious what your favorite is.
If you've tried the whole thing,
definitely write it in the comments
whether you chose the chocolate topping
or Spekulatius crumbs.
And I told you,
there's one more little surprise.
Because with our code
you'll save another 5% on your first order.
We'll just show it to you here.
So best order your ingredients at Koro right away.
Grab your Thermomix
and recreate this heavenly soft ice cream.
It's really perfect.
Have fun.
Merry Christmas.
And we'll see you again in the next episode.
Tschüss!
