In questa lezione vedremo quali sono gli errori più comuni commessi dagli stranieri con gli aggettivi e pronomi indefiniti, come QUALCHE, ALCUNO o NESSUNO. 👉 Sconto su NordVPN con codice LEARNAMO: https://nordvpn.com/LearnAmo/
Errori frequenti e uso dei pronomi e degli aggettivi indefiniti
«Ci sono ancora qualche argomenti di cui non hai parlato nei video? Alcuno te li suggerisce? Come funziona?
Dunque, frasi come…
Alcuno ha visto i miei occhiali?
oppure
C’è alcuna persona ad aspettarti.
…sono sbagliate!
In questi casi, bisognerebbe proprio sostituire “alcuno”.
Qualcuno ha visto i miei occhiali?
C’è qualche persona ad aspettarti.
3. CHIUNQUE/QUALUNQUE: indicativo o congiuntivo? (Chiunque vuole)
Hello everyone and welcome back to LearnAmo!
Did you manage to find all the mistakes in this sentence?
Are there still some topics you didn't talk about in the videos?
Does anyone suggest them to you?
How does it work?
I've always been asked that!
Anyone who wants to ask you questions can write them in the comments
and then you answer in the videos.
I know nothing about all the dynamics behind the videos.
Tell me more, otherwise I won't help you anymore!
I have no desire to help you by staying in the dark!
Here is a typical message from Anna Grazia.
Well, this message contains several mistakes,
all with indefinite pronouns and adjectives.
These mistakes are the most common among foreigners who learn Italian.
In this video we will identify them,
I will explain them to you and I will show you how to avoid them.
Ready?
QUALCHE plus plural.
QUALCHE is an indefinite adjective that indicates a small and unspecified quantity of something.
Clearly, however, the quantity is more than one
and this is what creates confusion for those who are learning Italian,
because a very common mistake among Italian students
is to use a plural noun after QUALCHE,
precisely because it is thought to refer to a quantity greater than one.
However, forms such as QUALCHE PERSONE, QUALCHE MELE, QUALCHE LIBRI are wrong.
Instead, you should always use a singular noun after the indefinite adjective QUALCHE,
like in these examples.
C'è QUALCHE PERSONA in fila prima di noi.
Ho mangiato QUALCHE MELA prima di venire qui.
Gli ho prestato QUALCHE LIBRO.
If, on the other hand, you want to use the plural noun
to refer to a general quantity, therefore not specific to something,
you should replace QUALCHE with its synonym, ALCUNI or ALCUNE al femminile.
In fact, this adjective, however, has the same identical meaning as QUALCHE,
but it is always followed by a plural noun,
so ALCUNE PERSONE, ALCUNE MELE, ALCUNI LIBRI.
Alcuno in domande.
Ah, attention!
ALCUNI, which we have just seen as a synonym of QUALCHE,
is very different from the singular ALCUNO, a lot.
They are used in a different way and they also mean different things.
In fact, ALCUNO and its variants ALCUNA, ALCUN,
are used only in the singular and in negative sentences,
with the meaning of NESSUNO.
For example,
NON MI HA FATTO ALCUNO SCONTO,
which is like saying,
NON MI HA FATTO NESSUNO SCONTO.
NON C'è ALCUNA RAGIONE PER ARABBIARSI COSI TANTO.
NON C'è NESSUNA RAGIONE PER ARABBIARSI COSI TANTO.
NON C'è ALCUN DUBBIO RIGUARDO ALLA SUA IDENTITÀ.
NON C'è NESSUN DUBBIO RIGUARDO ALLA SUA IDENTITÀ.
So, all negative sentences,
NEVER ALCUNO, ALCUNA, ALCUN,
can be used in affirmative or interrogative sentences.
Never!
So, sentences like
ALCUNO HA VISTO I MIEI OCCHIALI?
or
C'è ALCUNA PERSONA AD ASPETTARTI?
are completely wrong!
In these cases, it would be necessary to completely replace the word ALCUNO
with more appropriate words, for example
QUALCUNO HA VISTO I MIEI OCCHIALI?
or
C'è QUALCHE PERSONA AD ASPETTARTI?

Who is more indicative?
Here, the question gets a little more complicated.
In fact, the indefinite pronoun CHIUNQUE, which means ANY person,
as well as the indefinite adjective QUALUNQUE or QUALSIASI,
can be followed by both the indicative and the subjunctive,
based on what it expresses.
When CHIUNQUE is used with the sense of
TUTTI, OGNUNO, QUALUNQUE PERSONA,
then it is followed by the indicative.
For example, CHIUNQUE PUÒ APPREZZARE LA SUA BELLEZZA.
When, instead, CHIUNQUE has the meaning of
TUTTI QUELLI CHE, QUALSIASI PERSONA CHE,
then it will be followed by the subjunctive.
CHIUNQUE STUDI L'ITALIANO TEME QUESTO ARGOMENTO.
Niente, più, non.
Nulla, niente e nessuno
are indefinite pronouns that serve to deny the verb.
But be careful how they are used.
In fact, they can be used in two different ways.
If nulla, niente e nessuno follow the verb,
then the so-called double negation will be necessary,
that is, we will have to add NON before the verb.
Non ho visto nessuno, non ho nulla da dire, non ho mangiato niente.
If, instead, nulla, niente e nessuno precedono il verbo,
then the double negation, think about it, is useless.
Nessuno mi ha visto, nulla mi spaventa, niente ha senso, niente ha senso.
And in fact, the same rules also apply to other negations,
like the adjective NESSUN, O, MAI, MICA and so on.
Same thing, non ho incontrato nessun amico,
nessun amico ho incontrato.
Non vado mai in montagna, mai vado in montagna.
Non andremo mica in vacanza, mica andremo in vacanza.
So always pay close attention to the position of these negations.
ALCUNO or NESSUNO.
Even if they often create doubts,
the indefinite adjectives ALCUNO and NESSUNO are actually synonyms
and for this reason they are interchangeable.
Both can be used after the verb
and must be supported with another negation, the NON before the verb.
Non ho nessun dubbio, non ho alcun dubbio, non ho nessuna notizia,
non ho alcuna notizia.
Be careful though, the adjective NESSUNO, as we saw a little while ago,
do you remember?
It can also be used before the verb, in this case alone,
so without other negations.
But with ALCUNO the same rule cannot be applied,
so ALCUNO can never be used before the verb.
So we will say, for example,
NESSUN AMICO MI HA SALUTATO,
but we can't say ALCUN AMICO MI HA SALUTATO.
So, from tomorrow you will start using the indefinite pronouns and adjectives correctly,
it's all clear?
If you still have any doubts, let me know in the comments,
maybe I can make a second part of this video,
because I know that this topic and these words
create a bit of difficulty for those who are learning Italian.
If instead what creates difficulty for you is the much-loved, hated subjunctive,
then I suggest you watch the video
in which I explain, once and for all,
what are the five most common mistakes made by foreigners with the subjunctive.
And these are mistakes that really everyone makes, even the most advanced ones,
so don't miss it!
