Fast food chain ad, from now on we'll just make our mcflurry ice cream ourselves.
Hi, it's Daisy again from the MeinZauberTopfKüche and today I've brought you a very special recipe,
because today we're going to try a creamy mcflurry ice cream.
And instead of going to the next fast food restaurant here,
we're going to grab our thermomix and just test it ourselves,
with colorful chocolate lenses.
I'm really excited to see how it tastes, and if you're curious, stay tuned.
First of all, you only need very few ingredients, and that's cream,
condensed milk, a little vanilla sugar, and a few chocolate lenses.
We'll start right away, and you can find the complete recipe for reading
in our ZauberTopfClub, where you'll find a simple step-by-step instruction.
We'll add the cream to the thermomix, and don't let it get in the way of the preparation time.
That's going to take a long time, but that's just because of the cooling times,
because when it's mixed together, it's really, really fast.
Add the sugared condensed milk.
It's still a little firm, because it was in the fridge.
Have you ever tested mcflurry ice cream at home?
If so, be sure to write it in the comments, and also write whether you succeeded.
I'm really excited.
And a little homemade vanilla sugar.
That gives it a special something, and it's made really fast.
And now the mixture is mixed for 30 seconds at level 4.
Enter 30 seconds here.
Level 4.
And that's it for now.
That's it, and then you need a frozen mold.
And since I've made ice cream in the thermomix more often,
it's always a little challenge for me to get it out well afterwards.
That's why I switched to silicone molds.
And since it's quite a lot of mass, I need a slightly larger silicone mold
so that I don't have to put five pieces in the froster.
But you can also use ice cube containers.
I think the silicone ones are best because you can push it out perfectly afterwards.
Or a flat mold where you can cut about 3 cm cubes afterwards.
As I said, silicone molds have really proven themselves.
These are quite large, so I don't fill them up quite as much.
Because after freezing, so it has to go into the freezer for 8 hours,
after that the whole thing is only stirred creamy with the thermomix.
And that's why the pieces shouldn't be too big.
Otherwise, the knife won't grip that well.
I'll put this on a board and put it in the freezer for 8 hours.
That means you can prepare the recipe super well in the evening
so that you can enjoy a really nice creamy ice cream the next day.
Of course, we've already prepared the whole thing.
That means the frozen ice cream is already in the molds.
I'll put that in the thermomix again to stir it really nice and creamy.
And now, when I push it out, you'll see why a silicone mold is best for this.
You can push it out completely and then you don't have so much sticky stuff in there.
I'll do it like this.
If you do this, you'll notice that it already has a relatively creamy consistency.
I'm really excited. I think it's going to be super creamy.
And there are only three ingredients so far.
So cream, sugared condensed milk and a little vanilla sugar.
I'll put the rest on top again.
It's definitely a bit of a tricky affair with these big molds.
And the whole thing is now mixed for about 10 seconds at level 6.
I already said earlier that you should cut it into cubes of 3 cm.
My silicone molds were a bit bigger, of course.
That's why I have to see if 10 seconds is really enough.
Also a little tip for at home.
Depending on which molds you use, the time can vary a bit.
We'll test it first.
The good thing is, you can always re-do it.
I'll show you what it looks like again.
Because now comes the second step, which is to stir it really nice and creamy at level 4.
But look, that looks pretty good, doesn't it?
Now it's stirred again at level 4.
You can either go back to 10 seconds or you do it a little bit by ear.
Those who have had the thermos for a long time know that you can hear a lot about whether something is good or not.
And I'll take a look at it up here again.
I think it's really nice and creamy now.
I'll leave the consistency like this, because it's not supposed to be completely liquid.
And now there are two options.
You can either stir the chocolates with a spatula underneath.
But since I want to spray it on in a piping bag and don't have any small chocolates here,
I'll just sprinkle them on top.
As I said, you can decide how you want to do it.
And first of all, look how nice and creamy this consistency of our McFlurry Ice Cream is.
Alternatively to chocolates, of course, you could also top the whole thing with caramel sauce,
with chocolate sauce or strawberry sauce.
You know the classics, how they are served.
I'm going to put this in the piping bag now.
And look, I'm going to spray on some really nice soft ice cream.
The consistency is definitely great.
I would just scoop it out with a spoon.
And in terms of portion, there's a lot in there.
That should be enough.
Let's see if I can get it through the piping bag or if it has to freeze for a few minutes.
Look here.
That's perfect.
Of course, you can also spray it on small ice cubes or something like that.
I think the kids will love that.
I have to press a little bit on here.
I think that's enough for me.
I can't eat that much.
Then the whole thing is topped really nicely with a few chocolates or toppings of your choice.
And now comes the best part of the episode.
Try this.
I'm really excited.
It smells really, really good.
The consistency is super creamy.
And it's delicious.
So I think it's really close to the original.
I'm curious how you like it.
You can find the recipe, as I said, at our Zaubertopf Club.
Try it.
Write in the comments how you liked it and what you chose as a topping.
If you have little Smarties at home, you can just stir them down with a spatula.
So have fun.
Enjoy your meal.
And we'll see you again in the next episode.
And don't forget to subscribe to the channel.
Bye!
