We're going to be breaking that down as well as going over a few updates ahead of tonight's game against the Boston Bruins.

Now, before we get into tonight's update, I do want to touch on Bobby Brink a bit because he has been a guy all season long so far from the beginning of the preseason until now that has been getting every bit of praise he deserves.
He has been phenomenal so far in a few instances in specific standout.
But if we go right here ahead and look at last season's scorecard, you see Bobby Brink just around there in the middle.
Now, obviously, you're getting Kaprizov.
You're getting Niccolino.
You're getting McCarron.
You're getting the goal scorers and some players who contributed on the score sheet at the top of this.
But as an advanced analytic kind of standpoint goes with Bobby Brink here, he played very, very well.
And more so on the ice in things that do not contribute to advanced analytics is what really excited me to be able to talk about Bobby Brink in this video.
And we go ahead and look at the box score for that game as well.
You see Bobby Brink just about at the top there.
One assist, only 11 minutes time on ice, which right now is something I'm going to say.
I don't see a world where he stays at that time.
I think we're going to see him increase time as time goes on.
And, I mean, having 11 minutes being this shortest amount going forward, he's really shown what he's capable of even in just under two minutes on the power play.
But for someone this year who was coming in and betting on himself, he has a huge opportunity to make things good for himself.
You see a projected score of 63% according to Jay Fresh, 60% on the offense, 76% on the defense.
But one thing that really, like I said, I saw last game that really made me want to make this video is this play in specific against Nashville.
The biggest defenseman on Nashville coming up, getting the puck, chasing that loose puck to it, Bobby Brink.
And we know Bobby Brink is not the biggest kind of player, but when you see something in a minute, it makes it even better.
Completely holding him off from the back post by UC Soros to the progressive sign on the glass.
That was an absolutely huge play.
His pass contributed to one of the goals in that game that he got yesterday.
He has just been such an important player when it comes to being that hard-nosed player the Wilds want to see from the guys like Marcus Foligno, Nick Foligno, Michael McCarron.
And he's not at all the same build as those guys.
I mean, you look at the lightest players in the NHL, according to NHL rosters, Bobby Brink is there, Maxim Shabanov is there, Jared Spurs are there.
Bobby Brink doesn't play like that whatsoever.
We look at the lines and how they've been at least so far this season and when we're looking at what's going to come.
Being on the third line with Ryan Hartman and Yakov Trenin, you have two guys that are that style of player and it just kind of rubs off.
Bobby Brink has always been that style of player, but it's been even more this season so far.
That third line has that mix of speed and scoring, the mix of physicality, the mix of playmaking.
And to me so far, although it's only one game into the season, Bobby Brink has just looked phenomenal.
He's played great. He's done everything that we wanted to do perfectly.
And this is going to be a big impact on what the future holds for not just him, but this lineup as well.
Because when we're looking at right now the lineup without the names like Niko Sturm, without Charlie Strammel,
without a few of these other names like Riley Hite and Hunter Haight who are pushing into a potential spot in this lineup.
There's not really anybody right now you can take out and Bobby Brink probably was the one at this point a couple weeks ago, I would say.
But right now it's hard to do so and that's a huge opportunity for the Wilds to have that many players available to fill in slots and play bigger roles here.
And with this contract, like I said, the one year 2.75 million betting on himself.
He's a guy that I would love to see absolutely dominate this role that he has right now of just kind of play your game.
You know, do what you're doing. Don't change anything.
And with the projected contract of 2 by 3.8 million, we can see him long term.
He is someone that I would love to see, especially being now playing with his hometown team.
It's just even that much more special for him and I feel like it's the same thing with us watching these games.
It's even that much more special seeing him on the ice with this team.
So folks, give me your thoughts on Bobby Brink's play so far because I got to say I've been pleasantly surprised.
And although it is super early, I don't want to get ahead of myself.
But it's hard not to see a game like that against Nationals.
And yes, this guy is playing exactly the way we want him to.
So the answer tonight against Wolves and Bruins, we have a few updates regarding the lineup.
And really the update is it's the exact same.
John Hines confirms to Joe O'Donnell that there is no changes for tonight's lineup versus Bruins.
Once again, show off that he is the goalie the Wilds are looking for and have been looking for for years.
And that net is his.
That's his role to do and that's what he's got to do now.
The exact same way as what Bobby Brink has been doing is just play your game and show Bill Guerin, John Hines,
that you're meant to play on this team.
Still only a few times that we've seen this lineup play.
Once in the regular season, a few times in the preseason.
But this does mean that Maxime Chabonat, Emile Irov, and Kroger Priest are all staying on that line.
And it is something that, once again, I said I'm curious to see how long it lasts.
And I think last game they got better and better by the shift.
Let's see if that happens again tonight.
It's not going to be an easy game, especially when you're looking at another game under their belt against the Wilds.
You've got to make sure you're going the same way.
I'm curious to see if Uli Mata can still play that offense he has been as of late.
It's kind of crazy to see last game that he was playing such at a high offensive level.
But this is going to be really good to see, once again, how they go against a little bit of a better team
Before we conclude with this video, a little bit of a non-in-game update.
The Minnesota Wilds tweeted this out.
I wanted to get all you guys involved with this as well, if you haven't already.
You see this, they posted this.
Comcast and Xfinity want Wild fans to pay more.
They put Wild Cross on a higher price tier than the one that carries other regional sports networks.
Contact them. Let them know that you want it on the same tier.
Be sure to go do so.
Now, you're getting it cheaper than what I'm getting.
Where I'm in Canada, I only watch sports net plus $50, $60 a month.
It's genuinely crazy.
But for you guys in the local area, you shouldn't pay.
You shouldn't have.
You shouldn't have to pay higher price tiers.
So be sure to go and do it.
With the Wilds' request, they want it cheaper as well.
You guys want it cheaper.
Might as well give it a try to get that price down.
Because we all want to watch Wild games.
No matter when, no matter where, or as cheap as possible, it should be cheap.
So, folks, give me your thoughts on all the news that we have here today.
Your thoughts on Bobby brings the lineup.
And be sure to go fulfill that request from the Minnesota Wilds themselves here when you get the chance.
But that is all I have here in this video.
If you did enjoy, give it a like.
Hit the sub button as well.
I'm signing off.
Thank you for watching.
Hope you have a great day.
