and how Giannis Antetokounmpo would be at the forefront of it,

thank you guys for everything but now let's get to it
and break down these new quotes and these
are from Frank Isiola and honestly yes he's
a very credible basketball mind but he's one of the few
people and few people covering the game
of basketball that seem to be in on this Miami Heat
team so the quote is as follows the Miami Heat
are going to be a problem the Miami media is going to
be very annoying because the Miami Heat they're very legit
if Giannis gets to 70 games he's top
three in MVP their bench they're pretty deep they're going
to finish top three in the East
now that is the quote a quote from Frank
and I honestly don't disagree but there are some few
caveats in this quote the first one really being Giannis Antetokounmpo
and before we break down
the moving parts of Giannis and the depth
and the matchup problems they can create in Miami
let me know down below
while we break this down what are your feelings towards this Miami Heat
team do you think a yes they
are a legitimate top three contender in the Eastern Conference
or b not until the roster proves it
but now let's get to it and break down how the Giannis
Antetokounmpo is could be legitimately
the LeBron James effect in Miami I've mentioned this before
over the last few weeks
and how Giannis through the preseason has really resembled that LeBron
James tenure in Miami and what do I mean
by that the name the idea that there's one really really
really good player in all world one
of the best players walking the earth now wearing a Miami
Heat jersey that is going to demand
so much attention with head coach Eric Spoelstra leading
the way putting them in positions to be successful
with Giannis demanding that attention he's going
to be able to attack but once the opposing defense makes up
their mind that they are not going to let
Giannis beat them he has the ability to make one pass
which turns into two three passes to making
the right move to then get an open three-point shot
or just an open shot in general for anyone
else on this Miami Heat team
which is going to create big big problems we all know Giannis last
year 27 and a half nine rebounds five and a half assists
and now playing in a system in Miami led
by Eric Spoelstra with a surplus of three-point shooting it
is really going to put him in a
position to flat out dominate not only in the sense
of point production which he has done for
basically every single season in his NBA career
but now i feel like those assist numbers will go
up even more if you go back to those years where he averaged six
and a half assists we might see
something along those lines if not more than
that and he could be threatening a triple double on a
nightly basis that may seem crazy
but just look at his last preseason game in like 15 minutes he
had 15 points on 8 of 10 shooting 10 rebounds
and 9 assists he was just flat out dominating
and it was easy for him and again it
was in a limited amount of minutes you look at the scouting
report and the things he does well top eight what
99th percentile 95th percentile at shots at the
rim number one in transition
which is something we've broken down on on this channel in the past
because Miami was number one in transition last year
then they went out and got the number one
guy for the last like seven to eight years
in transition in the entirety of the league usage
rate top 100th percentile which is fine
because the assist rate also in the top 97th percentile
he's going to be able to dominate the ball in Miami
and he's going to demand so much attention
he's going to be able to make the correct pass
and the great other pieces in Miami are going to
be able to benefit at a very high percentage I can't wait
to see how this all plays out I think
it's going to continue to get better
and better as the season goes on and when Miami starts to
click and it could happen game one it could happen
game 10 again there's no real deadline on when
it's going to happen but if and when it does it it's going
to be a lot of fun to watch I mentioned
LeBron James effect and something that I've mentioned
a bunch on this channel over the last
few weeks Kendrick Perkins on get up
and or yeah what was it NBA Today I believe or maybe Get Up
he goes on to say, "Cool, I thought LeBron had returned back
to Miami. This was following a
preseason game after Giannis Antetokounmpo simply went off
for this Miami Heat organization
it again, it is really getting to the point where things
are starting to really get Heat fans
excited, it was awesome when he came into Miami
and they actually made that blockbuster trade
it felt like things had fully switched but now it's
so close, the season is so close, it really
does feel like Giannis is on the verge of having an MVP caliber season
and leading the way for
this Miami Heat organization in the best way possible
so we continue to the second part of
Miami possibly dominating and that is with Miami Heat uh depth chart
and their ability to create
matchup problems with throughout the entirety
of the lineup we all know Giannis Antetokounmpo and
Bam Adebayo are going to play the role
of two legitimate juggernauts in Miami but their
surrounding pieces are going to be huge in this Miami Heat organization
and their ability to
succeed all season long and I'm not just talking about guys along
the lines of Jovic and Fontecchio
who maintain great size and can play the three or the four position.
It's really the idea that you have Wiggins, you have Adebayo,
you have Tim Hardaway, you have Klay Thompson,
you have De'Veon Mitchell, you have Ryan Conwell, Pella Larson.
All of these guys are in a position to be really, really, really good
complementary pieces that give the Miami Heat a boost
that they desperately need on periodic nights.
and they have enough three-point shooting
because everyone I named can shoot the three-point shot.
Portis can shoot it.
Seems like he's going to really feast in Miami,
especially behind that three-point line.
Klay has not shot the ball well through preseason,
but we all know it's only a matter of time
until that shot starts to fall.
Obviously, Bam has shot more three-point shots than ever.
Jovic can shoot the three.
Hardaway can shoot the three.
Wiggins can shoot the three.
and Wiggins appears he's being drastically overlooked
in Miami he's going to be such a
good player he could be a walking 18 and 8 this up
and coming season in Miami while playing elite
perimeter defense and no one would really be surprised
but they'd be like oh well they're
getting the maximum out of Wiggins
because everyone's overlooking him up to this point
in the offseason Bam Adebayo is going
to be the biggest question mark is his role really going to
diminish or is he still going to feast again he never got
to that MVP caliber player that everyone
expected him to get to in Miami gets that 25 26 point
per game with 12 rebounds really resemble
the game of Giannis Antetokounmpo
but his assist numbers have gone up just a bit over the last few
years the three-point shot has now come
into effect playing next to Giannis is going to be
interesting to see how it all looks
and how it all breaks down but I'm still very optimistic
defensively we all know it's going to work
and it's going to be the best defense in the NBA
when they both play and are on the floor together.
Offensively, there's still going to be question marks.
I think, again, I am confident in their abilities to get the job done
at an effective rate, but we just have to wait and see.
Again, we mentioned Andrew Wiggins and his ability to get the job done.
I think he's really going to absolutely dominate,
and he's going to be in a position to really feast.
If you look at last season, something that Miami did very well
was score the basketball, and again,
they were number one in fast break,
number two in offensive efficiency
and rating scoring the number two amount of points in the
entirety of the NBA fourth
and rebounding fourth in assist I think all of these numbers are going
to be relatively the same this year top three in points scored top
or maybe not maybe not I take
that back but top three in rebounds top three
in assist blocks will definitely change from 22nd to
top 10 in my opinion the reason I'm hesitant to say
that there'll be top three in points is because
there's going to be games where they're able
to win 105 to 95 like that is genuinely going to
happen more than any other team in the league
because of their defensive abilities one through
five and going to the bench which I really
and truly cannot wait to watch because I do enjoy
that level of basketball I don't have
to see every team score 120 points every single night
let me know down below what are your thoughts
and opinions on the abilities of this Miami Heat team
being led by Giannis Antetokounmpo
and really resembling that LeBron James effect I know they're
two different players but that was the last time Miami
as an organization and as a fan base witnessed
that on a first-hand basis to the extent that we did
and it feels like Giannis is about to resemble
that and then some in Miami
as that superstar all-world player leading the way in Miami as an
MVP caliber player towards the end of the season
and Miami will again be a at the forefront of a
very daunting eastern conference let me know down below
your thoughts and opinions and i will see
you guys on the next episode of Heat Digest
