The Quinn Hughes Situation Just Got CRAZY..
Sep 10, 2026
The truth is about to be revealed with Quinn Hughes as tomorrow we are getting the biggest
drop of information yet as Quinn Hughes is set to speak out to the media and Michael Russo has
dropped a wild new report on what to expect surrounding Quinn Hughes and his future with
the Minnesota Wild and with what we have also seen today things are at a very interesting place. Folks
if you want to stay up to date with everything going on with this Quinn Hughes situation
including all the latest updates be sure to drop a sub here on the channel we're gonna have it all
as it comes out here you will not want to miss it but I need to get straight into this because
there is a lot of information that is set to come out tomorrow but over the past couple of days we
have gotten a lot from outside sources and you see this here from Michael Russo to start it off.
When I talk to people on Hughes's side they still tell me that his intention is to sign and I might
know more later today potentially but I don't even want to give a salary number because Wednesday
when he meets the reporters in the NHL media tour I just think it's going to be very fascinating
what he says. With a few different reports that have dropped today it may be a lot more you know
stressful for a Wilds fan if they're looking for the answer but with all of that Quinn Hughes has
to speak out is going to be a big dump of information but it still all depends on what
he actually chooses to say. Michael Russo continues on says does he basically put this
to bed and say look my intention is still to sign but I'm thinking about the whole host of things
but we'll get this done or does he say hey you know I'm still really thinking about what's next
or does he dodge it completely so I think we're going to know a lot more on Wednesday so if you're
watching this the video comes out a little bit later on Tuesday night tomorrow or if you're
watching this on Wednesday be sure to stick around because we're gonna have a video coming out on
and this report that came out today from Chris Johnson is what sparks a lot of questions for
what comes out tomorrow it's believed that Quinn Hughes is not ready to sign an extension with the
Wilds per Chris Johnson. Now Chris Johnson is also a very credible reporter has a lot of you know
very good insights he is one of the top reporters when it comes down to the insider side of things
but there's still a lot of questions I really don't think for sure anybody knows because if
we go back to just a couple of weeks ago you know and even last week as well with the most recent
update Elliot Friedman also spoke out on something saying that you know they're not exactly sure
what's going to happen Michael Russo came out immediately and shut that down from a source
that he has closer to Quinn Hughes than what Elliot Friedman has and I feel like that alone
really says what we should take every report just a big grain of salt because I mean we don't know
anything until it comes out of Quinn Hughes himself that's why tomorrow is going to be such
a big deal but we can really kind of go over why Quinn Hughes may not be ready whether the intention
is he wants to sign or not the thought of playing with his brothers is going to be there no matter
what I still think that's what he's waiting for I do and you know I do kind of be curious about if
his thoughts are he wants the Wilds to add more he wants to try and get the Wilds to make another
move to get in a much better spot for the playoffs I think there's a whole host of things that Quinn
Hughes is thinking about when it comes down to his decision but right now everything we know
from the closest sources to Quinn Hughes is that he still intends to sign but we know the Wilds and
Quinn Hughes are going to want different things Michael Russo said this the Wilds basically
continue to talk with confidence on the fact that they're going to be able to re-sign him and I know
that they're meeting at some point next week face-to-face Hughes gets back to town on Thursday
so two days from now or if you're watching this on Wednesday Quinn Hughes speaking out tomorrow
and they'll start talking to him and his representation a little more I do think term
is the big thing I think the Wilds really want to give him a deal at 20 million dollars so that
could also be the case for what this report from Chris Johnson says as well if Quinn Hughes is not
ready to sign an extension that may mean the Wilds have offered him that eight-year deal he may
not be ready to sign that necessarily when he's still looking for the three-year so there's a lot
of things that kind of need to be put together to make this reveal all that we're wondering and
even though you know the Wilds are still going to do whatever they can to sign it and I'm quite
positive they will literally do whatever it takes whether it is the maximum they're going to do
something to be able to make it happen there still is you know a big set of things that need to follow
from that as well and I mean on the worst case you see this here from Michael Roof as well
if it didn't work out you can always say to him you know what I'll trade you want to go to Jersey
and if you want to go to Detroit then whatever we'll trade let's go take the money the Wilds
actually want to give him the money I think he would be more inclined to sign a three-year deal
align himself where he can become a free agent Jack maybe they come here maybe they go to Detroit
maybe they go to Jersey wherever so that's what it comes down and I feel like that is the bottom
you know aligning himself with Jack that seems to be the biggest case but ultimately would be
a three-year deal but keep in mind the Wilds don't need to just bend the knee and say yes
you know we'll make sure you can align with Jack they're going to do what they can to try and get
an eight-year deal a seven-year deal six-year deal five-year deal whatever it may take and
they have right now seven days to be able to make him get eight years if they don't want to do that
oh well you know you have that much time that's where it goes but one thing I do want to point
out really keep in mind for how things have gone over the past little while let me look at Kuro
Caprizov last year there was not much conversation until Kuro got back to Minnesota that's one thing
I wanted to point out because although you know we see all this stuff Aaron is on the phone with
a lot of things are more you can get more a little bit more progressive when it comes down to
face-to-face conversation for that contract much easier you know you get to see it at face value
so there's a lot of things that over the next couple of days we're going to get a lot more
information on I think right now whatever it takes been on the final year of his deal 7.85
got him for one more year you make the best out of this whatever the case does come down to I
still do think they will end up signing Minnesota Minnesota will still end up signing Quinn Hughes
you can't assume that you will you have to make sure you have kind of a fail-safe option
if that doesn't happen whether it is a trade whether it's something else there is a lot more
things that you need folks give me your thoughts down below because even though the projection
still shows eight years by 15 million we're looking at probably about a five to six million
dollar increase on the value of his estimated contract so give me your thoughts down below
because once again and I'll say this every time we talk about Quinn Hughes the wild can't let him
go for nothing obviously they gave up a lot for him they have him as their number one left defenseman
get rid of him pretty shallow on that side of legit number one talent so give me your thoughts
on that down below I'm curious to see what you guys are willing to do keep Quinn Hughes with this
team with this roster and would you be willing to go more than 20 million eight years by 20 million
as Michael Russo said are you going above are you going lower let me know your thoughts down
below now one more thing as well before we do glue this video up folks Quinn Hughes set to become a
you know a free agent at the end of next season they're still gonna have a lot of conversations
to start the season we're getting a lot more stuff when it comes down to actual
in-team things Charlie Strammel what the lineup is going to look like is Daniel Yurov going to
be a number one centerman are we going to see Matthew Shabanov try to play with Broca
Krisov and over these next couple of weeks when the wild team gets back on the ice we're gonna
have it all right here on the channel make sure to stick around and hit that subscribe button I just
want to thank you again for all your support here throughout this offseason that is coming
that is all I have here in this one if you did enjoy give it a like hit the sub button as well
give me your thoughts down below I'm signing out thank you for watching hope you have a great day
