AI GeneratedToday's forecast features a full day of sunshine with comfortable temperatures in the 70s and low humidity. While the morning started chilly, the weather will remain clear and dry through Thursday. A dry front arriving Thursday evening will bring breezier conditions and cooler temperatures heading into a cloudy weekend with a slight chance of rain.
Wednesday morning working for you
and the nice weather streak will continue today. Instead of
getting a half a day of sunshine,
we're going to get a full day of sunshine in here. And if
you're traveling eastbound,
look out for that intense sunshine glare. Travel forecast much
better. We don't have any rain
or fog worries for the first time this week. The front has cleared
the entire state and the big blue H
is in charge at all levels of the atmosphere.
And that's why we're really confident that we're going
to get a full day of sunshine in here.
The big weather headline this morning,
weather-wise, is how chilly it is.
We're in the 40s and 50s.
It feels like a typical November morning out there.
You may need a light jacket out in the hill country with 40s from San
Sabato, Mason, and Fredericksburg closer to the average low of 55.
Yesterday, we were several degrees above the average high of 76.
We'll be closer to that number today.
Sunset at 542.
A really easy forecast.
Heavy dose of sunshine, 70s all afternoon long with low humidity,
a light breeze, just picture perfect weather.
Get out there and enjoy it if you can.
If not, it's hanging around through tomorrow.
Clear and chilly again tonight with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Yes, we'll have seasonal afternoon highs, but the best part is this.
The very low humidity, making it feel nice and comfy.
Sunglasses, lip balm needed, long sleeves needed,
primarily first thing this morning.
Highs ranging from the 80s in South Texas
to 60s in the Panhandle, 70s for us.
Just for grins, we'll check out our high-res futurecast.
Did a great job handling the rain event yesterday morning.
Doesn't show any rain today, tonight, or tomorrow.
Mainly clear overnight.
The next game changer will be a dry, breezy front.
As it sweeps across the area Thursday evening,
it's going to be moisture starved.
So it's not going to have a chance to set off any rain,
but it will kick up the winds out of the northwest,
reinforcing the chilly, dry weather as we wrap up the work week.
The winds won't be super strong with this front Thursday night.
We'll have winds out of the northwest 10 to 15,
gusting 15 to 20 miles per hour.
If you're leaving town, flying across the country.
Heading to the southwest, Rockies, looks good.
East Coast looks good.
Rain and storms along the same front that got us yesterday morning
from Florida through the Tennessee Valley all
the way up around the Great Lakes.
And as we check out our sky cams across America, first stop, Nashville.
A rainy start for them,
and they're bracing for some rain to move on in to Cleveland, Ohio.
And look how mild it is, 65 degrees.
They should be in the 30s this time of year.
76, the high for us today, 80.
Tomorrow, right before that front arrives, then we're back in the 70s,
Friday, and even cooler Saturday and Sunday
because we're going to have the clouds trapping in that cool weather,
and we'll be way below average.
It's a one-two punch. The first low is going
to deliver the front late tomorrow.
It's the second low that's going to throw clouds up
and over that dome of cool air near the ground
to enhance the cloud cover and block out that sunshine.
The big question is, it looks like it's going
to make a direct hit on us here in Texas.
But will it have enough moisture available near
the ground to create some rain this weekend?
The highest moisture levels, we believe,
Saturday and Sunday will be here in South Texas.
If this moisture can get northbound,
we may have to bump up our rain chances for the weekend.
The European weather model shows mainly dry skies during
the day Saturday, lots of clouds,
and then a quick-hitting light rain shower or two Saturday night,
so a slight chance of rain Saturday night.
And then on Sunday, it really enhances the rain coverage.
I want to see one more model run to show
that before I bump up the rain chances.
For now, I'm going to keep them low at 20% Saturday and Sunday.
Rain-free skies for the rest of the week.
The GFS model is showing some rain.
The highest total is over southeast Texas.
European weather model shows the highest rain totals in south Texas.
Both of them show some rain for us.
The big question is, how much are we going to see?
And for now, it looks like the European weather model
is showing right around a half an inch to three-quarters of an inch
from LaGrange all the way out into the Hill Country.
A really simple forecast today.
No rain inside.
Pretty blue skies as far as the eye can see all day long.
And after a chilly start, it'll be nice and comfy in the afternoon.
Highs in the 70s.
Back in that chill zone tonight, underneath a cloudless sky.
We'll trade in the 70s for low to mid 50s first thing tomorrow morning.
Looking ahead for the rest of the week, we'll go dry skies.
Slightly warmer after a chilly start tomorrow.
And then that front comes through.
Cooler, breezy on Friday.
Cloudy, even cooler this weekend
with a 20% chance of rain Saturday night.
And again on Sunday and then drying out as we go back to work next week
with seasonal afternoon highs and lows.
